Funny you mention the conversations that start up about your neck. I have a nape piercing and every time my hair is up, someone asks about it  I personally believe tattoos and piercings are attractive. They tell stories and explain more about that person.

 it depins on the person. I have pircings both on my ears an my toung my eears r @ 0 and my toung is @ 10 both r getting gaged ^_^ I hope to get more pircings some day and some tats as well.
I hope to get memorial tattoos for my nefew that died @ 6 month, all the tat i want to get have meening I just dont have the money for them

I don't think that I would be very interested in someone without tats. It's just the way it all comes together with what you got to bring it with. If you don't have them I don't think that your strong enough to make sacrifices for anything. I have four so far and trust I am not done.
