I guess that raises the question......
Can you fall in love if you are being cautious?...in terms of your feelings?
Good thought to ponder....

Open you Heart, but don't close you eyes.
Okay that sounded like I got it out of a fortune cookie.
I say drop that guard.
The only reason to have it up is to protect yourself.
What are you protecting you self from.
From Love cause you might get hurt.
Most the time at least in my experience people are not all that malicious.
Things don't work out, so what they probably won't, just move on.
If they are intentionally mean or hurtful who wanted them anyway.
If they steal from you (never had that happen) at least you don't have to wonder what happened dump and get on with it.

If you really want to find true lasting love you will have to let down your guard. I've had mine up for 8 1/2 years. What you become is bitter, lonely, self loathing, wondering when the next person is going to "stick" it to you. I'm trying very hard to let new people into my life. Thank you all for the oppertunity to join in your conversations.

First trust God
Then trust yourself
Offer every person a common decency and courtesy of trust and let them earn your complete trust
Start by demonstrating your trustworthyness . . . through your actions . . . not your words
If trespassed once, discuss the issue with them and let them know what and why the trespass occured
If it happens twice, put your guard fully up and back away a little
And if you trespass, intentionally or not, face that monster, apologize and do your best never to repeat the tort . Never be afraid to apologize. Not a single one of us is better than human. a little a little but mostly human
And never resort to any extreme or violent act like violence, suing, losing your unless there is no alternative. Avoid , it breeds many fold.
I hate violence, but I understand and have used it at the dispensation of justice only under extreme conditions.
It is always better to heal than hurt and as a practice, healing yourself will develop your the ability to both trust and stand vigilent in guard and you will find it increased immensely.
I screw up constantly, but still you can trust me . . . but it would be better if my words did not say so . . . and my action did.
Enjoy your Sunday.
As for me, I will trust the Detroit Lions to beat the Minnesota Vikings today (groans . . . see how shallow words are?)
Trust God, trust yourself . . . the rest will come.
Remember, you are not alone.
But what the heck do I know?
Bry
For Cruise . . . you don't mind if mine is Iced Tea do you?
