Thank you so much for your comment. I just found out from my daughter who's station in the A.F. there, That I'm getting another grandchild. Yaaaaaaa!! I may have to move there now just so I can babysit. I've babysat most of my life and LOOOOve children. If you can find a man 42 to 52,honest,faithful,funny,and clean cut,hold onto him for me. Beware of a man named Dave Plater in Alaska!(hes an african American)
He just wasted 4 months of my life chating,him phoning at least 5 times a day,he sent cards,perfume(2 days before l was to fly there),l spoke to his brother,sister,and father, etc.
Then to top it off,he told me he got me a ticket to fly me there,planned it with me,followed me through all my organizing...and listened to me telling him l purchased clothes,a bag,goods to take with me etc.
Then he emailed me the flight itinerary and confirmation number!
lt takes me a 2 hour train journey (and he knew this) to get to my nearest airport.
He spoke to me all through the day as l was preparing to leave for airport at 2.30pm.
Wished me a good flight etc.
ONLY to find there was NO ticket at the airport waiting for me!!!!...
l wasnt able to contact his home or mobile to get his help at the airport to sort out the tickets absence.
He put a block code on his home phone next day..and got a new mobile!
Watch out ladies...his mental brother anthony is also involved in such disgraceful and dispicable thing!
He claims to be a social worker,drives a Lexus...and has a totally fake image of who he is.
ln all my 4 years dating on sites,lve never ever experienced such a nasty thing!!!
ld love to know if hes still plying this kind of game with others???

I'm so sorry you were sucked in by such a creep. Hopefully it doesn't sour you on all Alaskan men.
This isn't a note from the profile pictured guy. I'm his friend and think this Dave whatever should be taught a lesson and if I could find out who he is, I'd love to have a shot at him. Be thankful he didn't have a cause that he took money from you with,like so many other women have done in the past.

If you want a real Alaska man he won't be in the city. It's just another city as in the lower 48.I too was in Mo so my son could finnish school.Bought a house on 43 acres to fix up & resell while here.Luckly I allways pay cash for things so I didn't get hurt when the economy collapsed.Still made a good profit.If you want someone who will appreciate your home makin talents you need to get away from the cities. I haven't seen the shortage of women ya hear about.I've never seen or met so many good women as I have in Alaska.I've not met any worth haulin up there in the lower 48 yet.They lie & play games just for sex.They can't even cook,lol.

Gentlemen in Alaska???lol. Winter is the fun time up here. I do go to the lower 48 to do historical reenactments & visit kin in Arizona,but wouldn't ever live there,lol. My kids & grandkids are movin up too next spring. You won't find real Alaska men livin outside(out of Ak) or in the cities like Anchorage,etc.

I found there are more good women in Alaska than the lower 48. In the lower 48 it's like 100 men to every woman. If you like big cities & city men then Anchorage is a good place ta look. Most of the good women who go to Alaska are wantin out of the city & go to the bush & the interior. I don't know any men that are single for long in my area. Lots of women around. It'll be March when I get back home & can't wait,lol.

LOL Ya men to women ratio use to be about 7 to 1 a long time ago. Dont know what it is now but it has shrunk. Still more of us though. Hence the difficulty in finding a lady. lol then again I do live on an island and the selection is rather poor.

Well i came here to visit 31 yrs ago and i still have a hard time going out for even a vacation. The land is rough and the people are nice, if you enjoy the outdoors then you will love it here. Don't gt me wrong there is still lots to do for those that done like to tromp in the woods, movies, theater,plays,boxing matches all kinds of activities.
