we're being over run with out of staters. never mind the clothes, bring your own job, or a spare one to replace the one you'll take from a local.

yes very rude.... An American is an American. We should be supporting each other in rough times, not spreading hatred and anger.

well...gee...sorry dude. i guess majority rules. welcome to one of the most beautiful destinations in the country. the best of two worlds; feast and famine! it's wicked fun in the summer, and there's more work than you can shake a stick at, and yes a lot of revenue comes from the tourist trade. but, in the winter, there ain't much. most of us who have lived here all our lives have painstakenly tried to preserve our way of life, and share it with millions of people every summer. little by little, we're losing. the taxes are so high now, that most folks are forced to sell off their small business's that kept us afloat, to see them get torn down and replaced by a studio, condo complex, or some other summer tourist trap. you should have come here 20-30yrs ago, when we were allowed to cross someones backyard to a favorite fishing spot, swimming hole, secluded beach, field to fly a darn kite, or get to a good clam cove, (etc). now all that heritage and tradition has been replaced with no tresspassing signs. it doesn't matter that we've let people from away, come and go to these places for decades, first thing they do, is fence it off. most of the locals, (or transplants that think they're a local 'cause they live here now , that live inland don't get the traffic, so it's hard for them to understand the frustration. so, anyway, sincerely welcome, maybe you'll understand how most of us feel, and respect what's left of our great state, and make a difference...
