What great timing!! Yes we're having a get together @ 10:00pm at AMF Bowling center, 1919 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix this Saturday night! Well I cant speak for everyone here but for me I'm looking to meet some nice people here and get away from the hustle of everyday life. Seems to be some really decent ones here I've read about so far. But to answer your question I would say it's all what you make of it.. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.. We all get out of life what we put into it  Come join the fun Saturday night (Jan 24th) if your at all able to. Sounds like it could be fun for everyone just as I was telling 2younique up above!!!

Hi,
I joined a while ago, but never cruised the site until today. Hi to everyone! I wanted to start my own thread but I figured I might as well do it here.
*soapbox*
Am I at a complete disadvantage when it come to finding someone?
-for starters I am younger, 22 to be exact. It seems like most dating/networking site are all only men or fake people in my age range
-I am African American, or black. I have experienced similar situations that kg124 has experienced and that sucks
-somewhat sophisticated. I tend to act older than my age which may be a better fit for someone older.....but older women don't like younger men, at least in my searches. And add being black in the mix and I do not fit the "stereotype" of most blacks. I am educated, respectable, very easygoing, ect, ect
As you all can read how aggravated I am, but I am just looking to meet someone and give me a chance, but I cannot even get as far a response....

Sorry for the rant but I feel better getting that off my chest. I hope to meet some cool people somewhat near my age range (or not, never met anyone older than me, and I would not say no)

Hello AZ friends !
I am old to DH but new to this forum.
I hail from Canton,Ohio originally and have been in the valley a mere 21 years.
I *HATE* the cold weather, love the sunshine, the 100's, Rocky Point, San Diego.
I missed the bowling night, but it sure sounded like fun.
Hopefully I can meet some good friends and meet a good ladyfriend also, since that's what this site is all about.

I try to make a conscious effort of only sharing my own experience in respectable words.
I am just getting used to joining a group on email. I am still learning how to utilize "forums". I have gathered some really insightful information from all ages, races, and cultures. hi! im not in Az,but am thinking about spending my winters down there,maybe in the kingman area.that way id be close to nevada so i could go gambling.also on google earth ive seen what looks like some good places to go fishing. i also like ghost town hunting and Az would be a good place to look. so,any advice,tips or good gossip about north west Az? it would be nice to know a few people there allready when i get there.
