If in the event that other persons actually live on the East side besides me, it would be great to mention it, and compete with the army of West side people!
I snivel and wine about being here, but ahh summer is coming and you know who comes over the mountains to visit our sunshine? That's right those super cool West side people..... Winter sucks here mostly, but summer is grand. Oh yeah one more little stab... we don't have moss on our roofs... we have freaking ice.

Oh Wenatchee, I feel for you. When I lived in Wenatchee it was the loneliest time for me and believe it or not I was married (bad memories). I found Wenatchee to be so very standoffish and clicky, and it was hard to meet friends. I do understand why someone would stay there though, half hour north to chelan half hour west to levenworth half hour east to crystal if you like the outdoors wenatchee is a mecca

How about the Lynnwood-Everett-Marsville group (no name yet) make a journey over your way as soon as it quits snowing, the weather is a hell of a lot better, and you feel a lot better?

Ive got a sleeping bag and I can sleep in the bed of my truck. Ive also got bungy cords that will hold down my tarp and keep the morning light out till 9am . Hell, might as well bring my camping gear and have a tailgate party.

Im sure that others will join me/us in driving over.

The snow really nailed us hard this year but its melting and I'm finding some trails open now. Maybe we should plan a camp out and meet some of the other east side people. Somewhere in the middle???????? Good day to you all.

So life is better.....but the snow came again, still some white crap hanging around. My personal prize pile of frozen dirty snow out back is still 5 feet tall by 10 feet!
I enjoy a group camp out, I am from northern CA originally, where people love friends, fun and loud music. I have found no one to go with in the 13 years I have been here believe it or not. Clicky isn't even close to how bad it is here! Don't even think about wearing a dress here ladies, the "tude" is if in a dress only 3 things are happening....funeral, wedding, or court.

You are not alone. There's friendly folks around here, we've, uh, just got more elbow room 'tween us? It's been a few years...like 20 since I lived in Wenatchee, but it was almost impossible to make friends then, too. The only people who liked me where the Alzheimer's patients I worked with -- and that's only cuz they couldn't remember I WASN'T part of the clique!

Sounds like Wenatchee was GREAT !!

It all depends on how friendly YOU ARE !! Not the people you don't want to hang out with but the people you do want to hang with.

Every where can be lonely, that's what it's like here in Chelan being a single. When I was younger there were plenty of women to hang out with. Now it's lots of tourist from the seattle area, way over crowded, they don't associate with the common folks here, their all rather wealthy vacationers.

I have lots of old friends here from past 35 years living here. There mostly all married now and way to busy working and playing with each other and have much time for others, but I still go visiting all of them ones in a wile. It's not like the old day when people were singles (friends were not so materialistic as they are now) Now they have homes and they have motor toys and animals, horses and more expensive car/trucks to support (some with kids) and all that takes time and money to maintain. Leaving very little social time So really it just change in society. But life good here cuz we don't have any big cities around here except for Whenatchee, I don't go there, to much traffic..lol
NO BLUES HERE, clear skies, sunny summer and the smell of sage in the air....

Looks like you might be into air plains ?

come over to the sunny side, friendly people on the EAST side of Washington state!!

You should come on over to the " WINGS and WHEELS " event in Sep. or Oct. A really big selection of old and new cars, custom cars, roadsters custom motor bikes, poker run, music day and night all in a really big park. At the nearby air port is the display of the old prop. airplane called the VIDAL ( completely restored) that flew from Japan to Wenatchee way back when. Call the EAST WENATCHEE Chamber of Commerce for info.

hey everyone! Another big awesome week end here in the frozen tundra. I note that there is a reclus (spelling is bad I know) from Chelan joining in on the chat ...good for you! Reality is that at 45 (and damn good looking I might add; LOL) I am not willing to sit back and dream about yesterday...and I hope that at 60 something I am still un willing to survive on what once was.
I'm ready to play come on sunshine! I'm a crappy fisherman-person, horrible at most sports but love them all, (except hunitng not into that)
I raked my frozen lawn just to see the greenish grass today! Yeah had to pick up the poop too. Love my dog I guess.
Garden season soon! Yeah Ha
