Taking care of yourself before a first date is not a game.
In YOUR case....no, but I do think it is an unnecessary test.
It's a game when you're in a RELATIONSHIP and then instead of

To me, this says you fear being judged negatively if you did. Not all men are going to do this, but look at it from another perspective:
A woman isn't going to do ANYTHING with a man unless she is comfortable, and I may as well be entertaining myself if I can't sense whether or not a woman is comfortable being with me during a first date. If she starts bridging our space by getting close, relaxed, personal, then her mind is at ease because she isn't just comfortable with me, but also within herself. If that first date ends with sex at her initiation....that tells me her feeling of being comfortable with me progressed into one that says she felt safe with me, because as far as I'm concerned, a woman doesn't have sex with anyone unless she feels some level of security. So, in this regard, I don't feel I've been treated like a piece of meat if a woman jumps my bones on a first date. I'm appreciative in knowing she didn't feel vulnerable in doing so.
As much as you guys admit to wanting sex, I know some of you really
would like a woman who wants all of you and just use you for sex and
toss you away. I like to think of you as a whole package that has
feelings. 
We'd like to think you'd give us the benefit of the doubt in wanting to see the whole package in you also.
