so when u were in an LTR or married, did u think it was ok for your man to cry? the reason i ask is some women actually dont like to see their man cry esp. what they consider "stupid or minute" issues. maybe only life-changing events they r "allowed" to. and then others say hey, emotion is emotion and when i see a man cry, he is showing his emotions and saying hey, i am human!
women r emotional creatures and do show their emotions in a lot of different ways and crying for a woman is not questioned i dont think. but it has been said too that men who cry dont like to show it cuz it might ruin their MACHO image.
there r various reasons, issues and events that can make us cry. r men really an exception to this emotion and looked at differently or accepted just as well?
oh, and p.s. i have actually met men that i beleive cuz of the circumstances that can make themselves cry for my benefit to see what kind of reaction they'll get....its what i call being an "actor". i could not make myself cry if i really didnt want to to save my life. i suck at that!
is it time to turn on the tears yet??
now this man has a valid reason! any soldier will never hear me say its not okay to cry!

everyone has emotions and we cry...my exs have cried several times on my shoulder even friends,to me it takes a real man to shed tears it shows me he's not afraid to show emotion, and thats a good thing its bad when it stays all bottled up.

Well...it's better than him closing up and hiding all his feelings. Some guys get so busy being macho they lose sight of actually being human.
Fake tears get on my nerves whether it's men or women doing it LOL. That is nothing but manipulation and being childish.

YES!
Look if a man is expressing his honest pain, loss or hurt, even
frustration I'll be right there with him.
I am sure we know that real men cry. I asked here
once when they do how would they like the woman to respond.
It was a toss up between say nothing and just hug him,
and let him talk without interupting him.
I'm not sure about "fake" tears because I look at it this
way, he's really crying he just maybe lying about what it
really is he's crying about.
Example: Honey, I'm so happy to see you! (cries)
Truth: Honey, I just lost our savings at the casino. (real reason for tears)

REAL men cry and those pictures made me cry as my ex is a soldier...and yes he cried alot...who wouldn't when they rescue wounded heros like himself.
Men have been told from the early ages men don't cry I call BS...I want a man that can cry alone with me or behind my back, quite possibly at just a tv show or movie that means ALOT to me...shows ME they are real...I think a man is MACHO IF he cries...I can honestly say though when a man cries I've been around I don't know what to do I let them cry or gently touch them...IF they respond with "I'm so sorry for this." I then hug them and tell them not to be sorry and I appreciate their emotions.

You say you want that but if you ever seen a man turn into a big blubbery mess over a TV Show or movie your vagina would dry up faster than the Sahara in the summer.
It's like if I seen my girlfriend take a massive dump while squeezing plucking her nose hairs.

Think they'd still want a man who cries if the pilot of their airplane breaks down into a sob fest because his wife just left him while the plane is landing?

i have too much raw emotion sometimes. all i have to do is think of my dad(who passed away) or my dog(who died this past summer) and im a bawling idiot. im not afraid to admit that i cry. it releases a lot of stress and its goot to get it out. its nice out here today and im going to go for a hike in the woods where i used to walk my dog all the time. it should make for some good crying when i get to our spot we used to sit at all the time.
guys are groomed as kids to not show their emotion and men dont cry....BULLSHIT. when i got out of the army and remembered all my fallen brothers, i cried my eyes out.
on another note, if you know someone over there fighting for our country, send them a letter, carepackage, cookies, anything. its so nice to get something from home. people dont understand how hard it is over there. all we have is each other and all of us cant wait to hear from home. thanks
