Lighthouse....Why is this event at night? I am first and foremost a true musician. Started playing concerts at the age of 7. Don't like to be 'in' a crowd. sorry. Too much for me. I want to be left alone and don't think that will happen if I show up. So I respectfully decline. Hope everyone stays safe. I just don't do the bar scene. Hope you all understand. There would be too many people and too loud. I would rather be in a park or wilderness type arena, I am part Cherokee. Some people just want some space. Please, everyone use good judgement with this. I am not a prude, just want to be safe. Thanks for the invite, but too much for me. Please be careful. I do not drink, and won't have my picture taken unless someone asks permission first. Not a Cherokee thing, I just think it is rude not to ask. I have also traveled as a photographer, and in areas where most people don't go... to see tribal cultures, you always ask permission. Take Bolivia for example. Call me old fashion. Please understand, this is too much for someone who has seen so much of the world and too many crowds. Peace chaaron does this place deliver food, that's the only thing I would need. ha

Then I guess you are not coming, Chaaron. LOL.
Some of us older ladies look our BEST at night. It's the 'over 40' thing.
What I like about this particular venue is that where WE sit, it isn't at all too noisy for conversation. The DJ and the staff work well with us. We can even sit outside.
And, there's no cover charge.
IF people WANT to dance, they can....but it's really not designed at all like a 'nightclub', which is invariably too dark and too noisy. And too expensive.
I guess therein lies the difference.
There is an outside party coming up in June, and since we'll all be better friends by then, we will enjoy it even more! Hope to see you at that one!

nice thing about these parties is there are so many people from the site there that its not a bar crowd just a huge gathering of friends
the whole atmosphere is different from a normal bar crowd
