I just heard on the news that good ol' Joe has come out against the public Health Plan. This guy is really a Republican in Democratic clothing. I can't see leaving him in the party at this point. Hopefully the home folks in Connecticut will kick him out for good the next time he's up for re-election.

Its worse than you've stated. Not only is this corrupt bastard against the public insurance option; but he has promised to BLOCK THE UP AND DOWN VOTE BY JOINING THE REPUBLICAN EFFORT TO FILIBUSTER and prevent the vote from happening.
This goes way beyond having a different point of view than the great majority of Democrats. This is POLITICAL TREASON. Of course, this is the same turncoat who supported George W. Bush about 90 per cent of the time and then supported McCain for president.
Conneticutt is a very small state. But some of the biggest health insurance companies are headquartered there. (Aetna and Cigna, I think.) Do you think this has any influence on Herr Liebermilch?
Just for the record, I am a Jew, like Lieberman. And I HATE, HATE, HATE this guy!!!!!

I pretty much agree with the above. The fact that he was the Democratic Vice Presidntal nominee in 2000 makes his actions all the more disgusting.

He also has announced that he'll be supporting republican candidates in the 2010 election. I say bust him down to private and reassign his senate office to the basement next to the boilers. And kick him out of the democratic caucaus.

I agree. Kick him out of the Democratic caucus and take away his chairmanship. He's not a Democrat anyway. He's an independent! He lost the Democratic primary! The Senate Democratic caucus should THROW HIM OUT and STRIP his chairmanship!!!

Yes, throw the bum out. Lieberman is no friend to Democrats. He's also no friend to the general American population, with his attitude of being against a public health care option.

The more I see him the more he sickens me...for awhile he put on a charade about voting with the Democrats on social issues, and the GOP on foreign policy. Now he's even dropped that pretention...get him out of the party; the quicker the better. The Senate is normally about as fast as a turtle on this kind of thing but something has to be done at this point.
