One thing in life I have notices, is that we as a species, do not like being alone  .
It is the very nature of our being human to want to Group. To want to listen to another laugh. To do things together. This can be at work  or play  .
1 problem I have run into time and time again is meeting people. I am not a bar person. I am not a 1 nite stand anymore. I am getting older and want to enjoy a conversation with the opposite sex.
I have gone threw a lot in my life. Been married twice and divorced twice. Long story short, who do you know, until you get to know someone.
I never know what the opposite sex wants in life. Yeah guys hear: nice guy, sense of humor, hard worker, loves children, loves animals, loves god, loves to eat live goldfish  . But if no connection is made to get to know 1 another then. what is the use of having a dating site? 
I look at the Montana chat forum: and see in the top four: how we feel about the 1st lady and her entourage and the new federal law on no smoking in bars and peoples' point of views on how it infringes on our rights. Maybe I do not understand what this site is about  , but I was hoping it was to find someone, who wants to get to know me and I get to know them.
So here I am typing out my thoughts, wondering the best way to meet others, like myself out there in billings. Maybe I will show my sexy typing next time.

You should look around this site a little more.Montana chat is not the only place to look to meet someone.Look into the different groups and fourms.I'm sure you'll find someone that you can get to know.

I go all over the forums for the posts. If you don't like the forum topics or the groups, try doing a search for women in Billings and send the email after you read their profile.

I think the reason why people post forums like that is to start a topic of converstation that not only helps break the ice, but finds someone with similar interests rather than just the typical "man seeking women with these certain qualifications" follwed by the usual Q&A. After a while it's starts to feel like your filling out a job application. Forums like smoking bans and such are a much easier way to meet other people for some. I find them easier anyway, but that's just me.
