.... a text from a friend .....
What made me laugh out loud is when the director came to us at 3:00p.m. ask that we come up with a flow chart of our desktop processes by Monday morning for 4 of the different desk. I couldn't help it I just blurted out with laughter that the developers work months and years to make our inhouse applications work and ....... hummm we are to come up with the WHOLE fructure of all components by Monday a.m. so they can present it to the VP's.
I just use the dang stuff I didn't develop it. ok, I kept that comment to myself.
I still have a job.

Going for a drive with all the snow on the ground. Sure was pretty with the sun glistening off of it, looked like lots of white glitter on the ground. Then a visit with a couple dear friends in my life put even more smiles on my face. Was a wonderful day filled with smiles.

Used to think so but if you have the time and money it could be real. 57 yr guy with a 38 yr old girl close to our shop. They were on the front page of the news paper. Busted for drugs and guns. Don`t send money and have a body guard if you visit them.

I miss him. We had a lot of late night fun. I remember talking to him one night until about four a.m. when my neighbor was robbed, I was so wound up I couldn't sleep. He was a great tease but really very sweet. Thinking of him makes me smile.

Marital Bliss
As he was sitting on the edge of the bed watching his wife, she was examining herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked, "What would you like for your birthday?"
Still looking in the mirror she replied, "I'd like to be six again."
On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to an amusement park.
What a day! He put her on every ride there was: the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything.
Hours later they staggered out of the park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie (rated "G", of course), with popcorn, soda and her favorite candy.
Finally they wobbled home and she collapsed into bed, exhausted.
He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, 'Well Dear, what was it like being six again?'
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.
"I meant my DRESS SIZE, you idiot!!!!"
The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he is going to get it wrong.

The first three weeks of my girl'z lives were on a farm somewhere in eastern Washington. Later, they were found orphaned, on a load of hay that had been trucked here to Gray's Harbor. During those three weeks, mom kat had obviously taught them about birds of prey. Turning on my ceiling fan makes them run and hide under a bed. It took two days to convince them it was OK to come out the first time. It's been over three years since that fan has been on.... BUT whenever something goes bump in the night.... they both still look up at that fan.

Well, it sure isn't one of my gurlz today. I'm talking about the one
who had the mouse cornered under the tv abinet yesterday. Started
housecleaning, seems she has a night job and hiding her profits all
over the house. EEeeeeeeew.
