Who - I think I live on the wrong coast of Florida! When I see the sun set from my condo I will be thinking of all you lucky folks who see that every singe day!
at least 3 to 4 times a week I ride the bike up to the beach grab a cup of coffee and watch that magnificent sight! There is no better way to complete your day.....

My son and daughter-in-law taking me out to a nice prime rib for Valentine's with my 3 year old granddaughter and 6 year old grandson making me their all time favorite Valentine with a potted plant and a Hershey bar....can't get any better than that!

I washed my sheepskin mattress pad. In the past, I've always let it air dry, but today I thought I'd live on the edge and put it in the dryer on the perma-press setting.
IT DIDN'T SHRINK 
But come to think of it, neither do sheep if they've been out in the rain.
And, yes, I use Woolite.

I live on a golf course, which has drainage ditches on either side of the fairway. This makes for a very good place for ducks to hang out during the rainy season. Besides hanging out, they do other things and their babies are born in Spring.
Mom an dad duck have been here close to a month now. I dunno if they're the same ones, but a pair takes residency in and around my yard every year. With empty lots on either side, there's lotsa room for the nursery.

Sounds nice........Sometimes I hear them down at the pond. It is over the hill so I can't see them unless they fly over to my neighbor's pond. I do like it when the geese stop by.

well yesterday i visited my mom after my doctor's appt and funny thing we stopped in this one yr old giant walmart and walked down this huge area of the store and i'd be damn--every girl was pregnant (it made me smile knowing i was not the father) but I hope there will be one in those children's life after they are born... also i hope they never have to go on the Maury Povich show and tell any sad story there

My 1st grandchild was born on January 27, 2011. I got to spend a few days with her while painting my son's living room and dining room last week. She is a REAL peanut!!! Truly... There is a story behind this picture... I wanted to send an audio card... Stevie Wonder singing "Isn't She Lovely..." - but, I have dial-up and it was a disaster - then, I even had trouble with e-cards - so, I made my own. This photo has been "doctored"... she can't really stand up on her own...

I bought a new game tonight for my classroom, It's called Mind Flex. The research is showing that it is great for students with ADHD. I am going to have a tough time getting time for them to play it; evertone is going to want to try it! You think, and your brain waves from concentrating, move the ball. My daughter and her husband have been playing for almost an hour now!

If I am understanding you correctly it sounds similar to holding a pendant on a chain in front of you...concentrate...and move your eyes back and forth...the pendant moves everytime for me...Deepak Chopra taught me that one on Oprah 10 yrs ago! Now that makes me smile.

There is a school a couple blocks from where I work, and today when I crossed the street I saw a father with 2 teenage boys slouched over in the car -- one in the front seat and one in the back. They had long unruly hair and grumpy faces. I smiled because I was so glad my kids are grown!!!
