Got up this morning and went outside. It was frightening.
The temperature has risen to -25C with the wind chill and I feel a bit scared that Global Warming is upon us.
My daughters went out and were wondering if they should have their mitts and touques on.
I think the polar bears have gone back up north. I heard one of them say to the other, "I am sweating, let's get out of here."
Even the old cars are starting in this heat. I saw people putting their booster cables into the trunks of their cars instead of on the seat beside them.
Are we in for some real trouble?
Just wondering.

Dear D, I am glad you are over the plague and starting to see that it can feel warm and toasty if you dress well for it. Who can appreciate a fire if you have never been really cold? -25 is for woosies! The days are already longer and not even one blizzard to write home about. Wimpy Winnipeg winter if you ask me...
My truck loves it and likes to proudly go vroom vroom while the other engines are choking. I plug in at -30 though...as she gets a little cranky over night. Not bad for a 22 year old.
Chatting polar bears means you have ventured a little too far north or got lost in the zoo. They typically don't speak around humans, so you must be more of a chilly willie then you first thought.
I am awaiting palm trees to be listed for our zone soon. I am going to line the front walk.
