I tried doing the date hookup thing but every guy i liked wasn't for me. You see i am somewhat picky, well i have standards. Main important ones are: liking my family and me, loving me despite my weight and accepting that i don't drive. So finding love was hard, but then i met a guy from here. He was sweet,like those guys you don't notice at first because he's shy, your off in your world trying to find someone special and hes the one there as a friend.
He was that kinda guy, so each day i found myself enjoying the chats, and looking more in his direction. To say it was love at first sight, is probably not true but it was magical. That kind where its so magical you dont realize it,but its there. Time was so slow, we talked for hours without realizing it and when it was time to say goodnight,i wanted to get sleep over with and talk to him again. Within a few weeks we started talking on the phone. His voice was sexy but mainly his personality drew me in.
Although everything was nearly perfect, i didn't know if he'd accept me for me and i wasn't sure where it was heading(although he says when he first met me on here, he knew right away). finally he talked me into meeting him and what made me want to meet him was that he wasn't trying to push me but just telling me he'd love to see me. I wasn't sure if there would be sparks or how he would be able to handle my weight. I met him at my work to be safe, in my break room. when he hugged me, it felt oddly good at the time. Thankfully there was sparks, a whole lot of them.
well to put it shortly, we dated in aug 30th a week or two after our first meet. We watched a movie, i asked him to ask me and when he asked me to be his gf i said yes. the way he held me, the kinda person he is. he is a sweet,dependable,smart,romantic guy, and although he is serious, he makes me laugh. We took our pace, to others we moved fast but like i said, the timing for us was slow. maybe because we focused so much on each other, time was meaningless. We fell for each other sometime after sep and been in love since.
so i found myself being more and more with him. i admit it, i was addicted and i still am. each month we got more serious with each other, we trusted each other more. and although we are not perfect, we make the time to set aside our differences and love each other. this has been my first and last serious relationship. it takes work, effort, and patience. but at the end of the day we have each other.
In December we took the first step towards our future and moved in together. our relationship improved, when i was in pain he held my hand. when i was crying from whatever emotions at the time, he held me in his arms, and when i was sad, he made me laugh. there have been some hard times, but we made through it. What the most amazing thing besides his personality that goes well with mine,we have the same things in common and he has the same faith as i do.My family grew to like him even my old cat, he is the person who gets under your skin and into your heart. He has taken mine so well and made me feel the most beautiful woman in the world. hes even teaching me to drive and oh, he loves my body, but loves me for me.
in conclusion, its nearly been a year. in a few months it will be our first year. we are talking about engagement, marriage,and children. i never thought it would be possible to find my love in date hookup. so if your here to find someone, don't think that date hookup will find your love. all it does is help you find a match but it doesn't mean love will happen if you don't work for it. I found my love because i worked it, it took a lot of courage, love,faith,and trust to get where i am right now. I am happy to say that i found my future husband who is also my friend,lover,soul mate, and everything in between. God truly does answer prayers, he answered mine because he gave me someone to love and someone to love me in return unconditionally
