Taught myself to cook a long time ago. I have a few stand-bys that always come out exceptional. I do alright and things stay relatively tasty. Now the real question is why do I always meet women who have no idea how to cook? I'm perplexed. Not that I'm into stereotypes and think that all women belong in the kitchen, but hey, didn't somewhere along the way you figure it out? Hell, even open a can of soup? I got nada. I cook, bake, grill, etc. than most women I know. What the heck am I missing?

I can cook better than alot of women I know except grandma who still made her own bread cakes and pies from scratch. The only type of food that I miss and don't make is casserole dishes but I cook everything else very good.

I will cook anything but fish or seafood, because I can't stand the smell of it. I love to bake, so I make my own bread, but I can't make a good biscuit to save my life. I can make the hell out of some cornbread, though.

I love cooking/baking all the time. I enjoy entertaining for a crowd or just a few..I have never had a man in my life that could cook and I prefer it that way. When it comes to the kitchen I dont want anyone in there with me, it's my time for space and relaxation.

I can be a good one if I concentrate on it but usually I'm too tired at night to make fancy things and you get out of the habit of being creative in the kitchen.

I need a MAN who likes to cook. I'll happily clean up after.

She is so hot. my room mate was a chef and he taught me how to cook. Lets just say my X most likely misses having dinner ready when she now comes home from work. I love to cook and if Rachel Ray is out there I love you.

Does ordering pizza count???

Hahahaha yes when I was married I cooked 3 meals a day and often did a lot of from scratch baking.

like cinnamon rolls from yeast dough.

Many mornings I would get up at 4a.m. To make the dough but the smiles and hugs were well worth the effort!!!!

Fresh tomato sauce from garden tomatoes... That was yummy in lasagna...

Collard/mustard greens, oven baked mac-n-cheese, corn bread, country spare ribs and for desert...pineapple upside down cake.

I also have a dish using spaghetti noodles called "easy cheesey". The kids love it!!

I have a breakfast dish I call the train wreck lol. Similar to a skillet but much more fulfilling.

I can go on and on with dishes I've created or adopted from mom lol. Love to cook.

The Train Wreck

diced potatoes, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, crunched up bacon, sliced mushrooms, chopped bell pepper, ground breakfast sausage and scrambled eggs.

Fry up about 7 or 8 strips of bacon and set it aside.
Cut, dice and chop the tomatoes, onions, shrooms and pepper to whatever size you like.
Grab 2 skillets and ground the sausage in one skillet and brown the potatoes in the other.
While the sausage and potatoes are cooking, crack at least 4 eggs and season it to taste.
When the sausage is done, pour the eggs in and stir till it's completely scrambled.
Then pour all the veggies and bacon in and stir til mixed.
You can either put the potatoes in the bowl and pour the rest on top....or....you can dump the potatoes in the skillet with the rest and mix it all together.

This is one hell of a meal and will fill you up for a while.
