No traffic, at least where I travel. Can sometimes drive 2 miles without seeing another car. Love that. I agree, "The Woods". My subdivision is "dropped" right in the middle of a forest, technically, which provides nice isolation, which my previous, overcrowded home town of Burlington, MA, used to have, until they put a house wherever there was space (or not even) to fit one. Now it's like a city instead of a town.

Also, 128 sucks, pretty much any part of it, especially near the 93 intersections. Traffic, almost 24/7. When I was kid it was ok, but as that town grew with tech companies, as did the surrounding areas, it's now a nightmare, and some of the worst drivers I've ever seen, I should know, I was one of them (only if it got me somewhere, ages ago), ass-riders - where you can't even see their headlights (when there's someone already right in front of you) and "lane jumpers", risking everyone's lives literally pushing cars out of their way to fit into a spot smaller than their own car because they're getting 1 inch ahead of everyone else (then seconds later, losing that "advantage", and hopping again, and so on...)

And instead of arresting those a-holes, people doing 10 over the speed limit on an empty highway (sober) get a $100-200 ticket. Makes sense to me! NOT.

Not pleased with the bar scene crowd in Manchester though. Seems like it used to be cool just only a few years ago, but lately, people are just MEAN and totally stuck up (mostly the younger crowd - talk about an attitude problem, wow. What's up with this next generation of kids?, with HUGE chips on their shoulders.

I'll talk to anyone. Don't care what age, what they look like, etc. Other people, hell no, don't even try it. I'm mostly talking about the women too, not guys who want to get into fights. I've actually seen very little of that, in years, compared to when I lived in Mass and frequented Boston bars/clubs a lot.

Would love to live in the South somewhere for a while, just to compare/contrast. Big fan of Austin, and San Antonio. Haven't stayed anywhere else long enough to get a feel for the culture or "stranger" friendliness, but I always hear great things about Florida, South/North Carolina, Arizona, etc. I have a feeling I wouldn't feel at home in NYC, at all.

Love the ocean, the lakes, the mountains, the woods, the wildlife...what's not to like in New Hampshire... Oh yea, the citiots. I have a mild nature and don't mind the people that come to New Hampshire to enjoy the scenery, but why come here because you hated the way things were in the place you left and try to change New Hampshire to match where you came from!?!

I just don't get it.
