They haven't dated yet, nor even met. They started talking online a week ago, she's moving two states over with her son (during this coming week, I presume?) so they can be together, and they're getting married a week from now, because they're meant for each other.
Make of it what you will.  It's romantic at least, if not all kinda foolish. It'd be really cool if they became the exception to the rule, but... well... time will tell, I guess. If it were just two kids being rash I could chalk it up as a quick learning experience, but I gotta admit, it's a bit depressing when kids are involved in this. I have NEVER introduced a woman I just started dating to my kids, much less tried to give 'em an "instant" new mommy. If it turns out like most folks expect it will, it's sad for the children involved.

I'm reading all these posts and I'm a little disgusted to see how many people are ruling out their apparent genuine love for each other and desire to marry simply because of age...the only valid reason I can see for not getting MARRIED immediately is that they have never MET--we get completely different vibes from people in person vs online.
I won't come on this thread as a nay-sayer; I'll simply say, congratulations on taking the steps toward a happy future with someone you love...you guys may be the exception to what others consider to be the normal result of something like this.

I would have said the same thing, but I have two kids, I met my match on here aweek ago and he proposed. we have met and instantly fell in love. I am a spiritual person and I truely believe in our angles( people that we care about that has passed) With them and God, they put us together and because it was our time 2 be happy. We feel as 1 soul and he is really great with my children, and unfotunately if you dont take a chance then regardless the children get hurt. My sons father is deceased. So he yerns for a father. I believe We are an exception to the rule. GOD is in control and it is out of our hands.
