Do you think we should open the border up or leave it the way it is. I think we should open it up freely so people can come and go as they please. After all we are on friendly terms. As far as drugs go they will find a way in out one way or another.

dumbest shit i have ever heard sorry read. Canada has already become a bag of laughs on the world scene and we dont need to bring the US any more shame.

Before you all vent to me on how if I dont like it I should leave belive you me I have been trying for years. If I ever get that oppertunity you'll be the first to know.

So in answer to your question a BIG HUGE NO. Canada is a great Country for the old, retired, sick and non Canadian born. So when im sick and old ill move back here but if when I want the money and the lifestyle i choose the US.

Just remember the grass is always greener on the other side until you get there. I do like the U.S. for traveling. They have places that you will never see in Canada and the warm weather. Their health care is the worst I have ever seen (been there done that and not impressed). Our Canadian health care may leave a lot to be desired, but we can get what we need with out losing our home and our savings.

I have travelled extensively in the U.S. but have hung out with retired people who are enjoying that lifestyle. I am sure it would be entirely different if you have to work 5 days a week. I would love the borders to be gone and able to travel south to the warm climate in the winter, but it will never happen in my lifetime I am sure.

I have also dealt with the Home Land Security and believe me they are not nice. They all have different rules and are not open to anything. Finger printed and picture taken and told to leave because I was there longer than 6 months. I was there in 2009 for 4 months and three months in 2010. Still trying to figure out the rules. Also told I may not be allowed back and be flagged. All the illegals that are in the U.S. and they pick on a women that can pay her way and won't be a burden to anyone.

Got that off my mind.
