You gals are just starting out. Don't try so hard and one will find you. It's alot harder to find a good man when you're in your 40s and 50s than your 20s. They are out there, just gotta take your time and find the right one. In the mean time, have some fun and enjoy learning who you are.

yes there are good men out there and there are good woman out there as well... we all want a man and guys want a good woman, yes we have all been hurt one time or another but u cant punish the ones that wants to get to know u guys and the same for women we cant punish u guys we have to give yall a chance i know everyone is on this site to find love, friends with benefits, or just sex partner but most of all is love that is what we all look for if not now later but i for one is looking for love...

Why don't we (me, you, and lovinlilavery) all meet sometime! You seem like you enjoy interacting with people. That is the best way to get to know others; don't ya think?! How much can you get to know a person by just dating online for weeks? I think a profile and a few emails sharing interests can be a good thing and a couple of phone conversations. But I can't read the nature of a person and really and truely get to know them by dating online forever. Of course we can all get to know people by interacting in person so much better and quicker than reading words typed out in an email. Sometimes I believe that some people are just on here for entertainment. I would not think either of the two of you are..

I believe there are good men left SOMEWHERE just not sure of the exact location cuz my good guy GPS system seems to be fried.. lol Life and love have no guarantees so of course there are goin to be heartaches along the way, LORD knows I have had my share but I am still hopeful. The saddest part is the good men and women are the ones that are alone because the cheaters n liars have hurt them so bad they are scared to put themselves out there... therefore, the bad ones win. The bad ones are still living it up all happy go lucky while we sit home or wherever wondering why the hell we are goin thru this. All that said to say don't give up, go out, date, just take it slow and start out on a friendship level. That way there are no expectations from the beginning and you have a foundation to build on if its a mutual attraction.

men love women who cook and clean....yet, they also love women who are indpendent and can take care of themselves....Do you people realize we're in a recession. Did you realize you live in a state that boasts cheap labor. Money is tight. men not into taking care of women anymore...unless they're trophy material....are you a trophy dear? I'm just saying. Excellent question! For me a good man is honest, loyal, sane, good morals family values, and yes employed. We're just looking for someone who comes with limited amount of drama, can keep bullshit down to a minimum, capable of telling the truth under any circumstances and can hold a job. Now for some this may seem like a stretch. But it's all pretty simple to me. Good natured,honest individual doesnt mind making his own way in life and never taking the time to bring anybody else down. Really is that too much to ask?

I believe there are good men left just like there are good women. The real task is figuring out which one's they are.. To be a good man OR woman you have to believe in honesty, loyalty, and trust. A relationship has to be built on a firm fondation in order to be able to stand. A lot of men go strictly by looks and how fast they can get a woman in bed. THESE things do not make u a good woman or man. YES there has to be physical attraction between the two in order for it to work but NO its not the main factor if you are truly looking for love. Everyone has a story where they have been burnt and find it hard to trust the opposite sex. The only way you will ever know is to open your heart to the possiblility without completely losing it too soon. THAT in itsself is a major wall to climb. I'm still hopeful and will stay that way, because I believe in love.
