I've been on here for... idk 6 months maybe, can't remember, I was on and off here and there, never really got around to messaging anyone but every time id log on, id see the daily activity, or some of it anyway. One day not so long ago I logged on and the first thing I saw was a picture of this girl saying she was new and to welcome her and such. She seemed cute so I clicked on her profile and to my surprise, I found myself smiling as I finished reading, and continued to smile as I looked at her pictures. So I messaged her... and pleasantly to my surprise AGAIN, I received a message in return. We messaged back and forth a dozen or so times and ended up exchanging phone numbers. We then began to text constantly most of every day of the week and after about a couple weeks, we went out, now the rest of the story may seem a little lopsided but its ok. We had plans to go out on a Saturday night, the time came around for me to leave only to find out it had snowed like 4 inches and with a little truck, the drive was going to take a while, but it was going to take more than a little snow to keep me away from this girl. So I left, an hour and a half later in crappy weather I arrived safely at her house. Here is where we'll begin to make a long story short, before we could go on our date, I had to meet some family, and I don't just mean mom and dad, but also brother, aunt, uncle, gma, and 2 best friends... needless to say the pressure was enormous... however, I took the bull by the horns and took a chance. I met everyone and it went better than expected, everyone was really nice and funny and after our date and we came back, I was welcomed in and her whole family and I played cards and games until 1:30 - 2:00 in the morning. It may not seem spectacular to most of you but it could not have went better. It was the most fun id had in a long time. I can't tell you its forever, I can't tell you she's the one, but so help me god you can bet ur a$$ I'm gonna find out... I can only hope for the best, and I reccomend to anyone thinkin of giving up, not to, there is someone out there for you somewhere... and a wise man once said... if you quit now... you'll be a quitter for the rest of your life. What an awesome story. Almost sounds exactly whomever I introduced to my family went through the same thing. The man that I met here on DH went through with flying colors and he even met
 my ex!
