After many months of meeting some very nice guys on-line... the man of my dreams just happened notice me riding by on my mobility scooter. He tracked me down, rode by my house on his bike one night as I sat outside, struck up a conversation, and decided I was the one for him! I kinda liked him, too, but after a very nice dinner, I thought he might be "the one." Within a month I was sure!
I suddenly suffered severe back pain due to arthritic changes. For two weeks Jerry prepared my meals, took care of my cats, and helped around the house. When I ended up in the hospital, and then rehab, he watched my cats, visited me twice a day, took care of all my business matters, and continually encouraged and cheered me during a very painful and scary time. And in the middle of all that, he proposed! He's such a sweet and wonderful and caring person. He doesn't mind my physical limitations or my size -- in fact, my size is what attracted him to me in the first place. He's the kind of guy I've been praying that God would send my way. It's wonderful to have found someone to love and be loved by. At our ages (I'm 60, Jerry's 67), we're not waiting too long to make our relationship permanent; we're getting married in August.
Thanks, DateHookup, for helping me meet some very nice and interesting men, but I guess God had other plans for helping me meet Mr. Right!
