bendi,

I think maturity level is essential regardless of age. I'm only 28 and I've came into contact with a couple of men 10+ years older than me and it seemed as if they had the maturity level of a 21 year old, lol.

Sometimes some men, and women regress as they get older. I really don't care about age except I don't want someone thinking of me as her father. Now being her Daddy is another story. lol What I really prefer is someone I can connect with, both in mind and desires, whatever age she is.

Fancy---i believe you would see a difference worthy of change if u dated an older guy---I think it depends on the maturity of the partners---if the lady need a man who is experienced and a leader and stable---he usually is older--but if she wants a defined and refined stud muffin he may be younger--but rarely mature.

I agree with Truer, the men I've found to be mature enough are men who are older and seem to be over the selfish stage (or at least the evident ones). They seem more in touch with their emotions and not afraid to be real. I also see them as more stable and knowing what they want vs. still trying to figure it out.

But then again...there MAY be a few exceptions out there.

Some of these women i have dated my age, 52, seem to be falling apart. I want to go for a few years younger or at least someone who is not wearing a hard life on thier face and body. There are fifty one more years to have some fun.

I'm looking for someone who is compatable with me. I'm very healthy I'm looking for the same. A person anywhere from five years older or younger. Iffi on the younger. Yes it true visa versa. I have also been approched by persons who have health issues. I want to keep on dancing. I have let's say at least fifteen good years ahead and I want to enjoy them doing what ever adventure I may encounter. Many say I dont look my age and when they meet me they dont beleive me. Its funny I seem to attract younger people. I know that I have alot to offer to whomever will be my special friend, and hoping for the same. I maybe be older but I know I have aged like fine wine. Yet if this wonderful person is what I'm looking for there are exceptions to any rule.

I've got your E ticket freegirl. A thrill of a lifetime sounds too hard to pass up.

jon I've been out with a few 50 plus women and I haven't noticed anything "falling apart" about any of them. as a matter of fact, most that I've met seem to be more together than younger women.

I want someone in my own age group.

I'm too young and have too much yet to experience in life to be involved with someone who's already been there and done that. And I won't let myself become arm-candy for some guy going through a midlife crisis. And I don't need a new daddy or grampa.

Age shouldn't matter as long as your both happy, its just a number. I was with someone 15yrs older than me. But i think alot has to do with a persons atittude.

I date women over a large age range. Most of the ones in my age group do seem unable to keep up with me and my daughter. We have to slow down at the festival for them, wait for or help them in and out of the boat, they are less likely to pitch in and help with loading and unloading gear, and at the end of the day turn in early instead of sitting up around the fire with us. There has been a couple that have done well and have kept up with us, but they was not interested in a long term relationship with a man with so young a daughter. They raised their children and was not interested helping to raise another one.

So I do mostly end up with younger women. While the twenty year olds are fun to look at and still have that child like attitude that is so much fun at times, I prefer a woman that has been around long enough to learn that she does not know as much as she use to think she did...LOL So I look for the mid 30's to mid 40's that still has children around, enjoy interacting with children, and is still healthy enough to purse family actitities with us.

I would have no problem with anyone that was my age or older if they could be a active part of our household. Sitting on the couch and encouraging us is not participating in our life. We don't want a cheerleader, we want a team member.

I personally think i have more in common with a younger girl then a older lady. and your right the 18-21yr old girls are nice to look at but that's about it. so age only matters with a person and the mature level in life. There are plenty of 25yr olds that have a mature level of a 40yr old and there are some that just want to party there life away and not have any goals in life. if you both like each other and you have lots in common then age doesn't matter only you can know that when you are with each other.

I say you boys are right it has alot to do with atittude. I raised my kids and I have run around circles doing that. I sometimes talk like they do, an it just comes across that way because thats how we communicate. Alot of the younger people I work with always invite me to go out with them, I enjoy a good laugh and have a happy personalitly. I say it has alot to do with the atittude. Then your indurance to physical outings. I'm game.

She would have to like Italian , be sort of a "Witch" and have a very high libido

As many have said it depends on the maturity level of the person. I have been lucky, over the past couple of years, to date women 20 years younger to 7 years older that I and and I have found them all fascinating. I have garnered an appreciation for different types of music, different clubs, new technologies. It's a growing experience for me and I love it... God Bless Women...

For me age is not really the issue as much as health. My late wife, shortly after having my son began to decline in health and vitality and she aged rather quickly.
I think that I have aged quite well and my health is still very good and I resisted ageing while it seemed to me that she embraced it and even welcomed it. After I lost her and found myself thrown back into singles land it seems to stick in my mind that Ive had enough of the going gracefully frame of mind.
Younger women present the best option in this category but it seems to me that they are not so much interested in me because I am older and thats ok but I find most women my age tend to have let themselves go and also as I have a young son most of them seem uninterested in becoming involved in a family as they have raised their kids and are ready to live for themselves.
I would have no problem dating a woman my age or even older as long as she hasnt given herself over to that going gracefully frame of mind.

C'mon, Lars - fess up. You don't like younger women because they take better care of themselves, you like them because it feeds the ol' ego. If you truly believe your statement, you are living in the wrong place. Relocate.

No Ms. Chloe,

Not true about ego feeding, I think you are correct regarding my location. Does not seem to be the same problem when I am in California. However, I will tell you that most European women (of all ages) seem to take better care of themselves.

Thats my observation anyway...
