Lmao. 1st of all, Eminem is probably Da greatest of all time, but only cause of his EARLY work. Even friends close to Em will tell u, he's still got something in the tank, but nowhere NEAR his 1st two albums. His new shit with Royce Da 5'9 is dope but cmonnn.. Royce was supposed to be Em's 1st star on Shady Records n cause Da whole beef, he wasn't. Bad meets Evil on Ems 1st album shows Royce and Em were at their BEST back than, its a fact. No song of theirs today can come close to the lyrics on that song. 2nd, Talib n Mos Def are both great lyricist, but are nowhere near the best and are way outdated. Common n Nas are way better n they ain't the best either. I know immortal technique personally, n while he is sick n he is unique, his style is very limited, his freestyle is a** n all he wants to do is rhyme big words together most of the time. N wats up wit niggaz putting names no one even knows? Lol if we don't know them, dnt mention them. They might be Da sickest ever, but if no one knows them, its for a reason. Don't tell me its cause of the industry, cause look at immortal. No industry love but we all know him. Cause he is sick regardless. Local rappers might be sick, but we talking best rapper alive, not neighborhood freestyle king. Lol I think best rapper alive needs to be categorized. My personal opinion, of we talking LYRICS, which obviously a lot of u ain't, I'd say Slaughterhouse. While I did say Royce used to be better, Royce has been stepping his rhymes up a bit with these guys. Joe buddens may be most hated, but that nigga is extra nice wit Da rhymes. Mood muzik 4 was super official. Joell Ortiz. In my opinion, DA TRUTH. Freestyle, song, wateva. He gonna squash ur favorite rapper, hands down. Crooked I, sickest rapper I've heard from Da west in a longggg time. Im not big on west coast rappers so that'll tell u how nice he is. Yea, iron Solomon isprobably the GREATEST battle artist I've ever heard, next to Em, but his songs are so trashhhhh. The Saurus n all those other battle artist, like murda mook or Math Hoffa, they all are trashhhh garbage wen making songs. Which brings me to probably my #1 pick of best rapper. His freestyle is untouched. His 1st two albums sold across the nation like crazy with a #1 hit on each album. His songs ain't the best, but it ain't easy being a battle artist and going gold, as we all know. That rapper is CASSIDY. Big L maybe the best to EVER do it, right? Cassidy is Big L to the 10th power. Punchlines and metaphors are ALWAYS top notch best. So good, most Da battle artist I mentioned BIT off Cassidy plenty of times. Da only rapper I know who's made a MILLION dollars on ONE battle. Papoose is mad sick, but his reign was short and limited. Another rapper like immortal who put words together cause they rhyme, but make no sense. Lol. I know, immortal has topics n all that.. I know. That's not wat im saying. Comprehend if u can kid. Certain words in certain sentences ate put JUST cause it rhymes. Whether it has to do with Da song or not. Big Pun would've squashed those two, EASY. Canibus was great, also limited. Definitely ahead of his time. DMX, hardest simple rapper. Lol but where he at? Smoking rocks.. lol jadakiss, definitely a veteran and a great. Cyssero from Philly, pretty sick. Wale is turning out to be really ill himself. Sean p is probably one of da best freestyler ive heard. But at the end, they all HAVE FLAWS. One makes good songs but gets ripped on a battle. Another rips everyone in a battle but can't make songs. Its all opinion, whoever u like. But I played down facts, gems of knowledge. U might b godbody or 5 percenter n like this, while u might b blood n like that. Im a hustla, who do I listen to? Da hustla, Cassidy. He got a few cats wit him that sick too, especially ar-ab and jag. Underground rap hasnt been hot since da 90's n thats cause its all recycled raps n corny biters. One or two is hot, but not to say best. Theyre underground, not cause they want to, cause they have to. Underground Eminem tapes sold over 1.5 million copies across da nation and got him a deal and he became Da greatest.. How many does those underground rappers push? Luckky if he breaks a 100,000. Maybe a million youtube hits, but still cant sell an album! Lol don't forget Em came from Da same time as Necro, Juggernaut, cage, etc, etc. That was as good as underground will get n look wat he did.
