What plants have you gotten recently? It's not the best season for planting, especially here in AZ, but it's so rare to find Lamb's Ears here that I couldn't resist when I saw them the other day. I also bought Evening Primrose and a Russian Sage (my last one was annihilated by a well-meaning weed trimmer).

So, anything new in your yard or on the patio? bought, traded or dug up?

A new specimen Begonia new on the market this year is "Baby-wing" in pink or red flowers. It is related to "Dragon-wing" Begonia & gets large to 3-4 feet. Spectacular

Beautiful pic! the new begonia looks particularly healthy and happy. Is that lobelia in the pot? Wish I could grow it as I love it paired up with pink.

Vibrantly beautiful!

My lamb's ears are droopy ... seems I over-watered in my concern about the desert heat. :\

I started with a few and now they are all over the yard, very easy to transplant, very hearty, I like the variety of colors; I have violet, yellow, purple, red ones planted together in different area's in the yard

There is one more flower that has to be added to this set:

Morning Glories

When I lived back east, I had these last three entries growing along a 6 ft wooden fence. The morning glories giving cheer each new day, the vivacious four o'clocks (the red Scarlett O'Hara) with their afternoon beauty and the glowing moonflowers wafting a sweet scent into the evening.

Oops! I made an error ... that's a nicotiana plant not moonflower. However, I once had one of those, too. Guess a bird dropped a seed as once grew in the middle of my yard. Originally, I didn't know what it was but decided to let it grow until I could identify it -- was very pleasantly surprised to see the white flowers that eventually appeared.

Had some tomato plants given to me that grew to over four feet tall. They got planted late and didn't give much before irene came through.
Now all I have is a basil I think it is. Something thats supposed to go with tomatoes
