I want to be married within the next year and a half but i don't know if i have met mr right. am i pushing it? I am only 19 I turn 20 in October
Let me clearify myself some now. I am in college and working towards a degree.

Absolutely, you are pushing it. If young women would allow themselves ten years, after they finsh hgh school, so they could grow and mature, they would be happier and more secure in themselves when they did decide to marry. Life is called the school of hard knocks for a reason. Ten years is usually long enough to discover who you really are, psychologically speaking. Put away the hormones and focus on growing up and getting educated.

no really i would say 25 to 28,give your self time to adjust to being on your own first because one prepare yourself for possible divorce later ,hope fully not but look at long picture ,do you have a career ?going to college ,finish it or start ,not saying it will happen to you but best look ahead and being independent is most important and good men respect you for it
i got married first time at 17 ,we was married a year he left and guess what i was pregnant ,by the time i was 21 had 2 kids and 2 divorces ,i spent 15 years at same job,which after 10 i got into management after i went to college ,its to hard to have to do for yourself ,and then add kids ,i dont regret but now if i could go back i would have listen to every one and waited a few years to marry ,i think if i would have known either one for more than 2 years before i married them i would not have ,
just plan for you and dont rush,it gets you in deep shit ,do you want to be one of us over 30 and looking ?

Oh my gosh please!!! There is no specific age!! I guess most people would prefer to be on their 1st (lol) marraige within their 20's /30's, but life does not always pan out the way you hoped/wanted/expected.
If you put that kind of pressure on your self you will end up ill or marrying the wrong person, just go with the flow....I fell in love at 18 was with him for 8 years, thought he would be my husband, but life never let it happen...so know I don't hope/expect any thing, I am just taking each day as it comes!

OMG, please don't get married in the next year or so. OMG wait until you are at least 25 for a woman and 30 for a man. You will change so much between your age now and 25 that you will not be the same lady then as you are today. You'll be older and wiser.
