Yes ya'll I wasnt stepping out so much about what was said as how I reacted to it. yes clearly I became tooooo personal on the issue. I have a problem with what I consider the closed minded views of life that attack and make everything the mans problem.
I offer my sincere apologies to all for my outburst and have gathered myself together for now. The Dr.'s say i'm much better now lol
Lynn you are "as is everyone " entitled to their view on anything and, although I have strong feelings regarding some things I will work on keeping the discussion civil and not personal.
So I will be back now and again. Thank you for the feed back and understanding.

Hard to Handle...just a little info, I was raised with 2 brothers, raised 3 son's and have 5 Grandsons. I just had my first girl in the family 2 weeks ago a darling Granddaughter.
The reason I am telling you this...my son's would laugh out loud if they seen this site and I was accused of not understanding a man's viewpoint. I have had to deal with some scandalous girlfriends, daughter inlaws from hell...break ups, divorces and blah, blah..you get my drift!
It's overwhelming to watch a little boy grow into a man, to be his ear when they experience hurts from love..if you think I totally blame a man, your so wrong! Some guys bend over backwards and it's still not enough.
But, I also understand from being a woman...a woman's side and I was just expressing that...doesn't mean I was right, just my opinion!
I am truly sorry you took it wrong...

OK I forgot that I didnt turn that back on oops.
I appreciate what you are saying lynn and raising boys seeing nutty women in relation to them is expected.
and yet others would say your perceptions were one sided and of course you would side with your sons. Its the belief that women are natural nurturers and men are selfish brutes in general that rankles me. I see more men truly concerned for their children than the mothers as the present trend. So much so that if a woman is not selfish and career oriented etc that she is a whipped timid woman under a mans thumb.
It is talked about regularly that women who truly do not wish to join the work force battle, but choose to provide the nurturing and guidance children and their families need are devalued by women more than men. I just heard what I perceive as a promulgated stereo type that does not exsist in reality.
We all know that most women do not get along well with other women, few of you ever really trust another woman and you know more about the gender than we do?
I find it hard to accept that women are naturally nurturing because I very seldom see that I will say it does exsist however not in the majority.
Maybe its because I am in california the mecca of selfish manipulative women. I will say that I have had decent relationships with women from other states.
I dont know maybe I know nothing. you all are right that its beneficial to have these discussions as no one will ever make a difference if they are never heard and to be heard we need to listen openly and with out emotional prejudice.
Thats what shocked me as I realized to late that I was out of control. I like to think of myself as pretty aware and thoughtful on things and proved different very quickly.
I acted immature, spoiled, arrogant, etc. I was shocked really when I reread everything, I have those beliefs do not get me wrong I was shocked at the annimosity in my expressioin that came out and didnt trust myself not to continue once started.
However rereading what started the thread is about a loving man wanting what he has been trained to perceive as a submissive woman because women have set the definitions. He is telling you ladies that he is tired of being used for c*ck and money.
We are not wallets and warm vibrators nor slaves to do heavy work because you dont want to.
Women train us to be however we are. because, trust me we risk more provide more and get less in the pursuit of a relationship and love than women do. Its the way of things we must approach and face the rejection regularly yet reject one woman and your a pig interested in only one thing and concerned only with looks.
look at what this person asked us to discuss can you say that he in anyway indicated that he wanted to subjugate a woman or use her as a tool or slave? He stated that he wanted to treat a woman like a queen willing to give all he can for a woman that could be true and really care about him. Guess what folks he is not alone and part of a group that is much larger than you would think if all couyld find the courage to voice it.
Week slimmy men suck up to those women wanting to promote a false vision of men and its taken hold. Women have done more to lose the respect of men than men ever could have done. We are bread to protect women, men will help total strangers in trouble if a woman yet ignore a man.

Looks like it's not actually a gender problem eh? PEOPLE train others how to treat them. Humans assimilate themselves and others according to labels, titles, comfort, a sense of duty, ritual/custom - because it has always been that way, etc. So, in seems that once again humans are the culprits in their own misery and happiness. What a shocker! LOL Lynn, I think your input is valuable and you always bring a cool perspective and humorous insight. Hard, you bring a highly analytical and interesting spin with your thoughts. I must say that I am way more bent and mean than either of ya! Joking. LOL

Hard to Handle...I hear ya' and I think your right to a degree..but women have there crosses to bare as well and I could write a page on "On how rotten we've been treated" too...but, I am not as long winded as you LOL
I think Kat got it right..it is more a people problem! And, where you live has nothing to do with it, more who you are selecting and it sounds like some of you guys are reaching for the bottom of the barrel! And, then complaining you got a pit, rather than the fruit!
All men are not rotten son of a guns...and I think it was expressed I found a winner and to go one step further IMO you never know how badly you have been treated until you find that guy that treats you with the respect you deserve!
For the poor guy who was looking for a submissive woman...maybe that word, was acceptable to you...but, to me anyway I envisioned a "Stepford Wife"! If he would have said he was looking for a decent and honest woman that didn't play games...bingo, I would have agreeded with his post.
So, like yourself going off...that "word" rattled my cage too!
IMO, partners should be equal and yeah maybe there are folks that like being submissive...but I just can't help thinking "Rise up and be free"..it's the word thingy...LOL

Noooooooooooooobody is as long winded as me lol
but im working on it.
everyone has had poor experiences in life I guess I just wish we didnt dwell on them as much and tried to focus on more positive experiences.
My hope anyway is that will prevent us from allowing the poor experiences from needlessly influencing the future ones and maybe just maybe one of us might get some where.
My moneys on kat she is so nutz it just might work lol
