I can not believe that the women of Oregon do not remember how to dress as a Lady. I for one love the looks of heels and skirts or heels and jeans. Blazers really look sharp also. So what is up with the tennis shoes or work boots.

Dresses can be restricting but skirts are so comfortable. Id wear them more at work if I could afford to replace them. Have to wear leggings under them for that but I dont mind. Of course heels are a no but now days feminine and frumpy works!

I love any reason to be a little dressier...and I do even like to at least put heels on with jeans when going on a casual date...if I'm going to a nice dinner, a party or a show of some kind (concert or theatre) I'm all about putting on a girly dress!

I wear skirts or dresses sometimes if I go out or something. For me though, jeans are just more practical. Pants make me feel more modest.

I'm with you Charles. I'm 6'5" and the average woman is 5'4" so unless when we dance she is happy looking at my chest, she better get alittle elevation. That's the reason God made 5 inch heels with 1 inch platforms, Isn't it???

I also hear you, Charles. In the five years I've been single, I've dated only one woman who wore a dress/skirt and heels. And she didn't live in Oregon !
Men also need to be mindful of how they dress. I recently walked into my favorite bar for a drink after attending a charity dinner. I was wearing slacks, a dress shirt and necktie. Left the sport coat in the car. Couldn't believe the reaction I got from the lady bartender ! The place was full of guys wearing baggy shorts, t-shirts and backwards baseball caps. One sweet young lady even sent me a drink ! Another lady more my age told me how nice it was to see a gentlman dressed nice.
You can bet I'll be dressed nicely the next time I stop for a drink!

It is a big incentive when you know your guy will clean up to. Jeans or T-shirts with holes, ya know he didn't clean up personal & it's hard to feel like a lady, when a guy doesn't act like a gentleman. Love to wear the heels, but not when I think I'm standing in a cow pasture

When I was married I would get dressed up all the time. Long skirts with heels a couple of short skirts to. Now those skirts have been hanging in my closet for a few years not for lack of wanting to wear them. It's more that I am not going to dress up to impress someone. I enjoy being myself in jeans and flip flops. If I meet a man worth dressing up for then I will go buy some new skirts Not every women in Eugene wears rags.

Hey, I wear a skirt all the time. It gives me room to sprout a full boner, makes farting even louder and undetected Mwah ha ha. And I can walk down the street a pee where I want. The constant draft keeps my boys dry during the hot summer days. I can also pack a few guns, a six pack, a fishing pole under there. And even when I get pulled over, I beg the cop to frisk me and the b*tch never did. Lol..

I am 5'10" and for me to wear heels would make me at least 6 ft. tall. It's hard enough finding a guy that taller than me...
So heels are out for me.
I like to wear a skirt, but not anything tight or too short. I like to be comfortable.
As far as that goes, I'm tired of seeing T-shirt, jeans, and baseball hats on all the guys. Especially the hats. They don't even take them off when in doors anymore. And I'm seeing a lot of beards, which I don't like. I find moustaches very attractive, but beards only hide the face.
Get rid of the baseball cap, guys. At least when indoors.

my boss had me crawling under a table to be an IT tech in a skirt. would have been ok except that corner has not been swept in a good 10 years. We have a casual workplace so I try to "girl out" once a week. Heels however keep my back from hurting so I wear them at least 3 days a week with jeans, slacks a dress or a skirt.

Downtown Portland women wear skirts and dresses all summer, its awesome eye candy. Not in a lecherous way really, im just sayin you cant help but to appreciate a woman a little more in a skirt or dress. Love it here in Portland.

It is mostly a weather and terain thing. I'll wear a skirt in the summer but it is is just too frakign cold & wet most of the year. As for heals.....90% of the ground is dirt, mud, grass or gravel even in the cities. YOU try walking in heals on uneven ground!

times may have changed for you Haylee, but I still prefer to look and feel like a woman. Steel toed boots just don't make it. Oh by the way I wear heels and am not a stripper. You may like to rethink that statement before you generalize.

i think a woman feels more like a woman when she feels comfortable big black boots are great for both sexs, mine came in a box that said "blood pathogen resistant" which seems to be a plus in my opinion.but its funny boys don't want to play with dolls when they are young, but when they grow up its barbie time.

Actually, I think I wear shorts more than I wear dresses or skirts. Mostly because I had some surgery on my knee that is still healing and the other reason is all my skirts are pretty much way too big. Not so sure I'll ever be able to wear heels again, but sandals are hot when it's nice out. 15 months ago when I still lived in Vegas, it was sandals and skirts all the time.

Redfleur, Ok, 4 inch heels with one inch platforms. The point is, when I go out with a woman to have a few drinks or dinner or a movie, I spruce up, wear a sport coat and dress shirt and loafers or other appropriate shoes. I usually tell the woman what I will be wearing and its not just for the first meeting, but everytime. If that is off-putting, then so be it. I want to date a woman, not a lumberjack in flipflops.

Love women in skirts, or dresses, but I understand with it being cold and sloppy, and the dress codes at work etc etc etc. you tend to wear pant suits, which I might add make your a** look gorgeous. So wear what you will, for I find you all attractive in anything you wear. Women can wear anything and look sexy, I am jealous............but I love to look. Live love laugh
