i posted that article from craig's list not because it reflects my own state of mind - i am not that far gone or filled with that much bitterness. but there is some truth to some of it. worth thinking about. i used to be very very nice and i did eventually learn that it causes you to come across to women as needy and dependent and ultimately ends you up in the 'friend zone' - permanently. i have since scaled back on the niceness but not at the expense of becoming an asshole. i just shoot for being a gentleman as best as i can be. i have made mistakes but i learn from them and after all, nobody is perfect.
