The way I see it is I have a 50 50 chance it's yes or no. Now if she does say no then I go to plan B. I haven't figured that out yet. It's a work in progess

I think it's great! Yes, you do have to take a chance and you are no worse off it doesn't work out than you are right now. The worst that can happen is you will have a little vacation, that doesn't sound so bad.
Be bold, it's the only way to find things out.
