Cos play is costume play - and its a fav. Halloween has always been a fav. holiday.....and allows us - especially the bold - to explore our alter egos.
In a remarkable turn of events, I actually began early enough and am manufacturing Ren Fest costumes at the moment - for the lusty busty ladies - BBWs welcome and for their handsome pirates or knights.
Have a special desire for Halloween? Send me some pics, some specs and I'll send you a quote. Fabric selection, trims, details all make a difference.
If you've shopped costumes, my pieces are in the medium range - so three pieces for Ren Fest - a pair of pantaloons, a chemise/underskirt, and an overskirt would go for $140 at the modest range, more for extra trim/details.
But perhaps you're into manga, anime or Steampunk - or others.....all inquiries welcome.
I've got pics.

Hi, I'm part of the SCA and don't sew all that well. I love the Italian rennisance which is VERY expensive. I have one dress a good friend made me, it's a corsette,(steel boned) and skirt. I made a sleeveless chemise and petticoat to go with it.
My question is I want only HISTORICALY accurate costumes in appearance. I like richer heavier brocades and want accurate colors.
What would you charge for something like that. Do you do custome garments if I found material I liked and provided it? I have my dress in my profile pics, but would like an "everyday" dress as well. My persona is a Venician courtesan, which wore high fashion! Let me know! thanks!
