well july I need to lose about 20 lbs YET every guy I met says OMG No you dont.
Now that makes me feel EXCELLENT and helps me to accept the extra weight for now.
Need to just start walking some. That would help me a lot since I am always stuck here in this apartment.

I have suffered from panic/anxiety attacks for years now. I would be more than willing to help someone through one if it becomes necessary. I know first hand how horrifying it can be. I currently take Klonopin for it, but this is a broad spectrum med that is good for anxiety, anti-spasmodic, anti-convulsant, helps with RLS and peripheral nerve damage.
Some of the herbal stuff that I have tried that has worked is Valerian root (no known drug interactions), this is the natural stuff that Valium was derived from. If this does not work for you there is something out there called Rescue Remedy or Calming Essence depending on the brand. It is a mixture of five different flower essences, it is a liquid tincture. When one is having an attack they take 4 drops under the tongue, it immediately calms everything down. The nice thing about this one is that all the sudden you are just calm... able to breath again. Neither is considered mood altering or anything like that, it just allows you to be calm they are fantastic.
Another one (for the real serious ones) is available through www.1800herbdoc.com and is called nerve tonic. It contains Lobelia, and many other things. Lobelia is the best for any sort of anxiety (many people have succesfully used it to quit smoking even)
I hope this helps, and if you have any questions about any of this feel free to ask.
Peace be with all of you
In this group we are all here to help...and ask for it too

I have had anxiety problems for most of my life

not until recently have I finally been diagnosed with
it. Alot of mine is caused by my having to be there for
others and always having to take care of others, I was
brought up this way never did my mom or family ask me
how I was but was always told to help others.
So that pressure was compounded from feeling like I
had to do for others. (the protector) then of course
having a family and oh boy when I say what I deal with
now is so much more intense than when I was young.

Also doing it all alone. Not to mention being a supervisor
at my job and with people having the same problems as
my son.
LOL cant seem to get away from it. LOL because I must and can
laugh about it.

I am perscribed Ativan for morning and evening. It helps
just enough to keep me going and not enough to sedate me.

I also take Effexor XR for depression, Now why would I
have depression. (oh I dont know) duh
Cyclobenzaprine for restless leg syndrome.
Singulair for asthma and allergies,
Trazodone for sleep
Hydrocodone for pain from the arthritis and pinched nerves.

Well thats me. But Im still a human being.

Alaska I just might take you up on that offer.

Remember everyone we are all here together anytime

Problem today is lots of "herbal" meds out there but it cost lots of money..where the drugs from the doc are cheaper if you have insurance.

I've been posting videos under one thread here..Medical Marijuana..Hope everyone is watching them. Hope others as well find vids and share.

Have a good one everyone-in lots of pain today everywhere even my fingers hurt

Valerian is one of the least expensive on the market. I think the average price is about 7.99 for a bottle of 120 capsules. They usually say to take it at night as a sleep aid, but it works during the day as well. You can take one capsule up to three times a day, but you want to make sure that you take a day off from them every week or so as you don't want to overload your liver.
Foxy, I know a lot of it can be expensive, I have studied this stuff extensively and know which ones give you the best bang for your buck so to speak.
I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have or at least direct you to the resource that will allow you to have access to the information at your fingertips

Take care all

Foxy, Houma La is a town in Louisianna. La is the abreviation for Louisianna.
I am pretty sure he meant stay away from that town, because their water had those strange affects on him.
