I feel for ya deedee, I keep getting these guys who SAY they want to
meet me, we talk on here, then the phone, then.....wut???? Nothing so far, so
believe me, I'm not holding my breath for anyone, and have decided NOT
to call any man. They can either call me, or forget it. I'm NOT gonna
chase them.
Yeah, after the first couple of times with THAT jerk, I'd have blocked him
for sure, but I know how it is...basically...natural human curiosity, and the willingness to TRY and think the best of people.
We all do it, no biggie. If anyone thinks they are better than anyone else,
they'd better think again. We all make mistakes, so....and we will probably
keep making mistakes til we draw our last breath. I don't beat myself up
over it, and neither should anyone else.
I think the most honest people are here on the threads...talking things out...
right here. At least WE are being upfront and honest with everyone in cyberland.
How can you top that???
Raspberries on the rest of them...phooey I say! Just keep being yourself and
doing what you do, but trust your gut, and always be safe!

seems you would of thought him strange at least by the third time he changed. nothing about him sounds like a person who could be trusted. glad you come to see what could of been something heartbreaking or worst yet dangerous. happy for you that you are alright.

Hate to tell ya girl, I AM better then some, and I DO make mistakes.
I am better then those who feel the need to lie, cheat and steel from others. I am better then some one here who make others feel like dog doo, as if their nose does not lower to our eye level.
You bet, I'm better then some, and those who believe they are not, I feel sorry for them.
If your a good, honest, caring person then you have EVERY right to feel your better then some.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me that you meet NO ONE unless at least one DH friend has all his info and one RL friend knows exactly where and when you are going to meet him and calls to check and make sure you are OK 30 minutes after the time you are to meet him. I know this sounds extreme but it is my standard practice!

You and me both! I've been looking at that aspect in myself and relationship, I'm trying very hard to listen to my instincts and watch for the flags, I like you have made excuses for the behavior of others ...then feel like a total fool!
I've put myself and my children at risk over this in my past,no more! Not if I can help it.
This site is a global platform, I realize that, there are all kinds of wacko's on here as well as good people, it's the sifting that's difficult.

I had a guy to send messages to me for a couple of weeks and was very sweet, said the kindest things. I woke up one am and he had deleted came back a couple of weeks later, as soneone else, viewed my profile....but blocked me ! He is from Tennesee ....ring a bell !

Sorry, just got back to this thread...Yeah...you ARE right! Those of us who ARE honest, caring people who do NOT play games....ARE definitely better than those who do, for sure.
What I was alluding to was....the..."everyone makes mistakes" statement, in particular. Guess I should have clarified that. Of course anyone who would lie, cheat, or steal from others is just a dog, and not worthy of our time. There have been times when I have been treated badly...and I can guarantee...I don't treat anyone badly. I'm usually the one who gets the crappy end of the stick, BUT...that's okay, because it's on them...the ones who treat others badly. They will pay...one way or another...call it kharma or fate, or divine intervention, but they will pay. I end up feeling sorry for them, cuz they don't have a clue. JMO

It sounds to me like he has an on-again, off-again relationship. Every time they make up and love each other again, he closes his account on here. Then they break up again and he comes back with another profile. But no matter, he definitely has something going with someone, somehow, and the inability to set up an exact time and place, stems from what's going on with the other woman.
Heck Dee...I could be wrong, but I don't think so...he may even be married and keeps changing his profile so she doesn't catch on.
You're an attractive, amazing woman and deserve the best there is. Keep his insidious butt blocked and protect yourself from his games!
