So I see there are some new faces in the gardening group. Welcome.. I did this one quiet a while back and it brought alot of cool messages.. My father was a vivid gardener. we lived in a neighborhood but believe me the back yard was just about all garden . I remember turning it for him with a sharp shooter before he would till it up to get it ready for planting. Tomatoes, okra, squash and eggplants were what I have the most memories of. I hope to pass the tradition down to my daughters and have great memories of gardening with them.. -- If you posted last time I welcome another to let the newbies enjoy all the stories..

Good to see ya again Sitin.
Ol Gramps got me into gardening. Worked my tail off and I hated it. Swore I would never grow a garden.
I think he knew something that I didn't, 50 years later, I'm still gardening!
