This post interested me because it got me thinking about a couple of the relationships I've had in the past. One, I consider the "love" of my life and I made the first move. I had a friend that knew him and I asked him to let him know I was interested. I was so excited to find out he felt the same. That doesn't happen often, or maybe only when your really young Anyway, the bad part about all that was finding out that he really couldn't take the lead in anything. In fact, I found out his mother did most of the leading. Im sure he eventually grew up and so did I. I realized that I wanted a man that could and would take the lead. So then, the last relationship I had, the guy contacted me first. I couldn't believe he had written me. He was handsome and seemed sincere. And very much "in the lead". Problem was, he wanted to dominate my life, sort or "possess" me. He did go after what he wanted but I'm afraid he felt he "needed" someone too much.
So the moral of the story?? Heck if I know, !!! Maybe there is a happy medium some day
