I live in Rock Springs. Seems outdoor activities here are pretty much what people do in their free time. Dirt bikes and four wheeler are pretty much owned by everyone. Big lifted trucks are common.

I am orginally from MO. Never had I lived in another place. I did find out that everywhere is probably the same except for the HUGE cities on the coasts where more people are. SLC is pretty big but I couldn't imagine much difference other than sports stadiums and traffic being any different than even the small towns.

Think about what can you do there that you couldn't anywhere else? Bowling? Swimming? Shopping? Video games? TV? Sports? Music? Bars? Cars?

It is all basically the same except those huge attraction things such as a theme park or stadiums. Those things require a big population to make it worth it. If something doesn't require a big population. Any other place probably has it as well.

Well I live over a mile above sea level. Sunburn at 65 degrees is possible. Also heard it can -40 in the winter. Weather changes so fast here and always windy.
