If your going to trap it you should eat it! You can make a pretty simple deadfall trap with materials on hand.

 trapping or killing is illegal in some states be careful. I bought a product called deer off that works on rabbits too. So far it is working very well, but its not truly cost effective($40/qt) but it is working!

 A fence would be cheaper. I have 3' plastic fencing around mine. It was free from Freecycle.org

 I use dog clippings. When I trim my dogs I put their hair in my garden and I don't have anything eating my stuff except for the bugs. I use soapy water on the bugs.

 Same problem. I tried the sprays and hot sauce and it didn't seem to phase them. I put the plastic fence and folded it under and staked it down. If you don't they will just go under it. I haven't had a problem since.

 Franks red hot mixed with water seems to be working best. The liquid fence smelled like crap and didn't work. I was also thinking the fertilizer millorganite might work with its human scent too

I use Millorgranite on my lawn and I have groundhog and rabbit problems.

u have to keep spraying especially aftdr it rains. I dunno. Im glad for my community garden in the city. Nothing but birds here.
