Yes, my 2nd husband did a few times during the first year he was gone, but then stopped. I remarried 8 years later and that one died 10 months later of brain cancer.... he passed 2 years ago Aug. 24th. The latest was a couple of weeks ago when I was at a friends cabin in the mountains... asleep and I heard someone at the back door and it was him... I asked why he was there because it was a girl's weekend away and he said I just wanted to spend the night with you .... I knew you were lonesome. He went down the hall and got in my bed. That was the first time I ever heard his voice tho... of course it was in my sleep! Every once in a while my phone rings in the middle of the night too...... just once and no one is there, but they say that the departed will do that too.

Maybe this should be another thread. Hope it's OK. I forgot to mention in my other post, My late wife (ANN) best friend (Judy) told me that the nite she passed, my late wife called her on the phone and said this is Ann and Judy said but you're dead, Ann told her that she knew she had passed and said for her not to worry, that she was OK. According to her(Judy) she was dreaming, but she said she woke up immediately, and she had the phone in her hand. (Post Scrip to this: Ann kept Judys son from the time he was an infant till he was 5 yrs old, just about every day.)
