....after they passed on?
For me, the answer is yes.
She came to see me on the Christmas after she passed on......
I was layin' in bed, one arm layed over my forehead, thinkin'
of her, when I felt somethin' touch my hand that was across my
forehead.....I figured it was a bug, or somethin'.....
When I got up afterwards & turned on the light & looked....
it was a clear, single drop of water......I spent the next hour
searchin' the cieling for a leak, never finding one.
I interpereted this as a visit from my wife on Christmas......
leavin' behind a single teardrop.....
GOD, I miss her.........

It is hard for me to admit this. I don't want to believe in ghosts, etc.
After my wife died, each night at 3:00a.m (the time she died in our bed), I would feel very warm/hot and I could feel the warmth move. It would wake me up consistently for months.
Even after we moved to another city (and another time zone) I would still wake at 3 feeling her, less frequently but still occassionally. Even now after 4 years, I can feel her especially when I am stressed. It is that comfortable warm feeling, kinda' like when you are spooning.
I am still in love-- I do really miss her, all the time.
Thanks for asking this question-- it brought a good memory.

There have been a few times. The first valentines day after he died, I woke up when the alarm went off and hit the snooze button. I was laying there trying to make myself get up, I know I wasn't asleep but my eyes were closed. He kissed me on the forehead. I felt his lips, I heard the smack, and I smelled him. There have been things that have happened in my life and my kids lives that I know he had a part in.

Jimmy's image visited me about a year after he died.
Strange it seemed so real and I even talked
to him. He said very loud "Don't forget
you are married to me." He said that a couple
of times then the image was gone.

he came one night this past winter. it was very cold and i have to keep the water pipes in the laundry room off the carport warm so they don't freeze. i use a work light aimed at the pipes to do this (it was his idea and has worked for years). i heard him call my name as clear as a bell. then i thought that cannot be him - maybe his brother is outside calling me for something. i went and looked out the door and noticed there was no light coming from under the laundry room door and probably would not have noticed till the next time i washed clothes. as i was putting in a new bulb it occurred to me - how like my sweetie - always looking out for me, even now.

There have been times at night after I have gone to bed that I can feel him in the bed with me. Sometimes I will smell one of the aftershaves that he would wear. He would wear aftershave all the time. I have had him wake me up in the morning when I have overslept. The times that he is close to me are getting farther apart now.Ways that I miss it, at same time I know it is his way of telling me to move on with my life. Every time I start to get teary and down about the unfairness of life in taking him, is when I will feel his presence the most. I will wake the next morning with a renewed strength to face life as a single person again.
My daughter told me that one day as she was coming home after work when it was a very foggy evening,she was starting to get sleepy driving and she heard him say her name loudly. She jerked up and seen that she was heading towards the side of the road with a steep drop. She could not wait to get home and call me to let me know about it. I always knew he loved her a lot and this proved it to her.Even though she is not his biological child being from a previous marriage, he thought of her as his child.
Regardless of who I may meet I just hope that they will be smart enough to realize that I will always love him. That will be a love that will endure until I die. It will not be a competition just a new love to experience and I am sure he will understand as he told me to not be alone.

My kids an i attended a fathers day service at the funeral home and the pastor did a serman on the signifiquance of simple candle,we will never forget it,as we approached our neighbourhood by bus i realized the power was out,the time was about dusk and as we walked we saw people lighting candles through their windows, all the way home!i brought out some candles an lit some too,i remembered a little stereo we had with batteries in it
i thought id hear something on the news about the power outage,but all i could receive was this country station, so we planted ourselves on the couch and listened,then this song comes on about a father talking to his daughter and went on about all the things he wished for her in life... well omg....right when that was done a song comes on about a husband who was waiting forever in the gates of heaven,we just listened, my youngest who was 14 then looked at me and says ,i guess if dad was here he would be saying those things to me and you.......and i said i think he already did..

My wife passed away 3/26/08 so the wound is still very fresh. One night I was feeling very down about the way things where going ,just laying in bed trying to sleep. I could hear her tell me that it's OK to cry but don't be afraid of being alone. She was right beside me ,I could feel her warm body and smell her lotion that she alway wore. The next morning I got up and there on the floor beside the bed was her gold cross that I had given to her the X-mas before . I KNOW it wasn't there when I went to bed because I had just run the cleaner in our bedroom the day before!She had been there with me !!!

My husband departed this world on June 2, 2006 and I have had the pleasure of his spirit during the last two years. Although lately I have felt him near less often. I have heard him sit on the edge of our bed and heard the feathers in our featherbed crunch. He has woken me in the morning by grabbing my foot. I have felt his spirit move by me when I sitting alone. He has called my nickname at a Nationals game and spoken to me when he thought I had gone off on the wrong track. It doesn't freighten me, if anything it is a comfort to know that he is still here looking over me. In addition to myself he has visited our son and close friends. I believe that until he knows that I am going to make it he will be with me. I welcome his gentle loving spirit and feel comforted.

I have had several instances of visits from my spouse who passed away 4 yrs. ago.
1.About 2 days after he died,I heard him in his slippers,clopping down the hall towards our bedroom,then I felt the corner of the bed go down like he was sitting there.By then I was wide awake & no one was around.
2.About 2 mos. after he died,as I was walking through the dining room I stepped on something,looked down & there was a chain w/the kids birthstone rings on it that I hadn't worn in months.It was last seen hanging on a peg above my dresser,if it would have fallen off it would have landed BEHIND the dresser,Anyway I walk thru there numerous times each day & had vacuumed it also several times.How did it get there? Was it a reminder of our loving family?
3.several times as I'm sleeping I'll wake up to a flowery smell..then it will go away.Several times I have said,let me smell that again & a little later I'll get another whiff.Now this is Wisconsin,in Winter...there are no flowers blooming anywhere & I do not wear perfume.
4.they say sometimes pennys in odd places is a sign someone in heaven is thinking of you.I have found this quite a few times.Once 4 of them in the middle of my driveway..no one had been in or out & just today as I was picking up "dog doo doo "in the yard,I opened up a Menards bag to shovel it in & a penny fell out...true or not,it gives me a feeling of comfort.
So coincidences or messages...who knows for sure???

yes many times... He visits in different ways.... visits with the kids too....
The day of his funeral we all knew he was there.
while he was alive my mom passed on and she and I had a pack, that when she died if evrything I was taught in church was true, she was to tell me... My dad mailed me a picture of an ice scuplure on her favorite bush.... an Austrailian C*ckatoo. Her happiest time here on earth. there were no other icycles on that bush just the bird....
Neil and I talked about that He did not believe that you could come back and do something like that but he had to agree the proof was there. We agreed that which ever of us went first would let the other know the answer.....
On the day of his funeral I was staying with my Father in Law. I took off my glasses to take a shower. I left them by my coffee cup so I would not loose them. when I went to put them on they were gone. I asked his wife if she saw them, she said yes and had left them there for me. We turned their condo upside down I emptied my suitcases and they were NO WHERE. I was always giving him a bad time about takeing vitamins.... on the way to the church i looked up and silently asked "Neil where are my glasses?" a small voice whispered in my ear "check the vitamins" When we pulled into the parking lot I asked dad to just humer me and open the trunk. I looked in the suitcase compartment that had my vitamins and very neatly on top were my glasses.....
Int the pictures that were taken I had all my children and their spouses around me. My oldest daughter and son were standing shoulder to shoulder.... when the pictures were developed there was a space between thm the size of DAD...
There have been other things too over the past 4 years...

Yes my husband comes to me in dreams all the time. And one dream he brought me a birthday gift. And hes always smile and so happy when I see him. But I think the gift he brought me was a gift of my new life in ohio with out him. So that makes me happy to think he there for me now. I smell hes smoke in the car and just out of no where sometimes. I really miss him
