Yeah, I heard from my friend Barbara and she told me about this woman from Manchester, Connecticut thst pretended to be her friend and then set up fake profiles and sent her nasty emails filled with lies! What a great friend she was!

has anyone ever had a best friend that just turned out to be a user and liar? Im going through that and i cant believe how nasty women can be.
*sigh* i just got off the phone with a friend (who i met on here) crying about my "best friend" of 10 years and just...how bad things are "again" with her. we had a falling out last year at this time, didn't talk until jan and already she is just, letting me down again.
if you're not her bf or family, you aren't top priority. that just, isn't how i roll

You were deceived by a woman you believed was your friend. Not only a friend, but your best friend, which makes it even harder to comprehend. And now you realize that she was using the friendship for her own purposes without concern for you. Well, now you know who she really is. Hopefully, not too much damage was done. Chalk it up to experience.

Yes, they do. My BFF has been with me for over 20 years. Alot of tears and joys have been shared between us. She was there when my daughter was born and I was there when her son was born. A think a true test of friendship is the test of time. We've endured some rough patches, but we've grown stronger because of them. I trust this woman with every ounce of my heart and soul.

Yes they do exist,my best friend on here is Deanna,and I'm going to see her next month 
But I have met some so called friends on here that screwed me over in a worse possible way,it took awhile but I picked myself up and started over again

Friends.... my best friend from the third grade, lives in Colorado.., she is able to come here three times a year to visit.. She and I are complete opposites... she's never been married... I have a few times.. She's always been very thin... I'am kind of over weight. Shes a ski instructor... was a third grade teacher... now studying for nursing degree.... I've always work stupid low paying jobs... was a stay at home mother...
Blah... blah... blah...
As far as friends go, I've always had more male friends then females.... because most females I've met tend to become CATTY... I thought with age.. I'd find some mature female friends... that just want to talk and have some company...
As for the male friend in my life... I just can't trust anything he says... I was going to move back in with him. But his friend are rude to me... and his friends will always be first in his life... When I say... When someone loves somebody... that person is first on their list... shouldn't they be? He claims that I'am nagging him... If you don't like it...., I don't want you to move back in with me...
I had to live with him when I was sick with cancer.. and he and his friends treated me like crappy.... I was going to go into a shelter... my doctor told me to go to a hospital. I don't want to go back to that.... Friends don't treat friends like shit.

Why yes they do exist and I am a believer that just as many men as women are screw ups. I was intoduced to a woman by a friend who I later learn he'd been having an affair with. She was also his wife's best friend and it ruined three relationships at once. I have also had great lifetime friendships that are as strong today as they when they started. I think it's about compassion, kindness, and remembering we all go through hard times. I can only expect perfection if I give perfection and in the last 56 years I haven't achieved it yet.

i am picky when it comes to my true friends, i have "friends" ya hang out and talk and chit like that, but i really only have 5 true friends,

and tom (my ex)
jeanna lynda and cody i have known since grade school. we are like eachothers back bones, we know eachother in and out, and know if something goes belly up, we can call on eachother.
randy i dated in high school and knows almost just as much, him and cody are my shoulders to cry on, and a snuggle when i need one.
tom is my ex and knows everything about me good or bad. we wern't always, but we have become pretty good friend since the divorce. even though i think he's an asshole from time to time, i know if i was ever in a really hard spot he would be there to help out!
as far as anyone else i consider a friend, i really havn't known anyone else long enough! lol my ex i have known the least (7 years) randy 10 yrs cody and lynda prob 19 yrs and jeanna 20 yrs..... there have been good and bad times with them all, but with that history and we still all hang out and talk, i just know they are true! so there are some, i have been blessed with them, but like i said i am very picky on who i consider a true friend. if i havn't known you at least 5 yrs, your still at "friend" status, not true friend!

Yes they do.....TRUE REAL friends. But they come by the hand full...Those are the ones that will always be there no matter what and never say I TOLD YOU SO. It's just like a relationship, alot of respect and honesty. They might not take your advice, but they respect your opinion and honesty. I have had 1 friend (who I consider a sister) turn on me, but after 4 years I searched her out and we talked and forgave her. The relationship is not like it was, but it is a start....I made myself the bigger person to forgive her and it's all cool today. Will never be what it was, but in my case, life was too short to let it go on any further. And BTW I have alot of great wonderful guy friends who are my best buds, my brothers and have my back no matter what.

I have had people that I thought were my friends turn around and do many nasty things just to have a scapegoat to pick on, me. I realized that a true friend would want the best for me. A true friend would come running if you need help even if it is 2am and they were sleeping. I hope you can heal quickly.
