Yes, people are just now finding out about it. It's scary to think that we've been eating this stuff since the mid 90's and had no idea.

Prop 37 The Right to Know will be on the CA ballot this November which will require all GMOs to be labeled. Hopefully the rest of the nation will catch on soon after.

Actually, we humans have been genetically modifying organisms since the middle ages, how do you think we got different colored flowers?
What's different today is we are splicing genes across the whole spectrum, not just plant to plant, or cow to cow.
And yes, there should be a label on your food if this has occured.
At least I think so, in Europe it is the law.

That is true! I think that was considered cross pollination?? In this case they are actually taking perfectly good and natural foods and changing their DNA in a lab to where they are almost unrecognizable by the human body. They are growing these frankinfoods with pesticides and preservatives grown inside of them.

Other countries have banned them because they did testing and found that 3rd generation rats have lost their reproductive abilities and are actually growing hair in their mouths, among other things. It's so scary to think of what this will do to the human race.

This is great information. It's become a little more confusing these days due to CA's Prop 37 Right to Know act. It turns out some of the parent companies of foods we love & thought we could trust like Dean Foods, the parent company of Silk, are helping to fund the campaign to stop Prop 37 from going through in November.

I'm not sure how to post a picture on here, but Kashi is another one of the companies that is donating money to fight prop 37. I just don't get it!
