My name's Daniel.
First off, please ignore the fact that my nickname is "availnickname". As spammish as that may sound, I'm a real person and you'll get original responses from me haha. I tried 3 different normal nicknames that were supposedly taken, got frustrated, and typed that in. I now wish I thought of something better.  
I've been single for a very long time. I can be social, but at the same time I'm not outgoing very often. I tend to keep to myself and my friends. I find it much easier and more rewarding to have a few very solid friendships than to have scores of lightweight friendships. I'm pretty friendly as long as you're friendly with me. 
Up until Jan 4, I was a full time automotive technician. I am ASE certified in 7 categories. I eventually realized that it was going to be a long time before I would make any sort of decent salary. Even when I reached that point, it wouldn't be enough. Taking a look at what else I could do to pursue my passion with cars and gadgets, I decided to change careers. I'm now a full time college student. I'm currently finishing my Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology at Brookhaven College, as well as taking a few more core classes to transfer likely to UT Arlington. There I'll pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
I'm looking for a level-headed woman with a good sense of humor that doesn't mind bad puns now and then, and maybe even has a strange side to her like I do.  Looking for someone who takes care of herself both physically and mentally. Oh, and green eyes are something special.
As for a first date, we can go get a cup of coffee or something similar if that's not your preferred drink. I think it's best to keep that first encounter less focused on extravagance and more so on getting to know one another. Should things go well, keep in mind that since I'm a full time student, my funds are limited. Nonetheless, I'll do my best to make sure you have a wonderful time.
