I'm a UT undergrad and I love it! I'm somewhat intellectual and sort of an over-achiever. Sometimes people think I'm really sweet and "normal," but I have a lot of diverse interests and I can get along with almost anyone. I love talking to people who have a lot of intellectual interests but don't take themselves too seriously.
I LOVE my budding career as a math teacher. I'm super serious about education. I'm excited for my life to change dramatically this semester as I student-teach at a middle school in Austin.
I was a ladybug for Halloween and it was awesome.
I had to work fairly hard for a lot of the things I have (I know others have worked way harder, still) and I'm proud of it. My mom says I'm "industrious" because I found at least 5 ways to earn money before I was even 16.
If you like/know about the Myers-Briggs test, I'm an ENTJ.
The first things people tend to notice about me: That I'm "sweet." I often seem really innocent and nice/sweet to some people, but those who have class with me or who work with me notice that I'm very direct and love to lead discussions. I'm kind of impulsive in what I say. I share my ideas and thoughts freely.
MUSIC: Regina Spektor, Mirah, Stars, Iron and Wine, other folk/alternative, and about half of the top 40 hip-hop (the ones that don't suck). Lately I've gotten on the electro-house bandwagon. Some day I'll learn how to DJ and it will be awesome!
