My name is Steve. When I am on here, I spend most of my time hanging around Florida Chat. I do not post all that frequently as I am more of a lurker. However, I attend meet ups with people from there. They are usually held in Kissimmee, which is central to where everybody lives. We tend to just hang out and laugh about anything and everything.
I am mostly a quiet homebody, but have no problem going out and doing things with friends. I have lived alone most of my adult life and am at a point where I want to change that. I am not looking for a one night stand and would say no if asked for one. I want to get to know someone first.
I would like to think I am reasonably intelligent and am looking for someone who can hold up their end of a conversation. I try not to take myself too seriously because life is too short. Laughter is a good thing and should be used often.
The only non-starter I have is if you smoke. Aside from that, I try to keep an open mind. I am low-maintenance and would prefer to be with someone who is the same way, but it is not necessary. I am usually of the mindset, "simple people, simple pleasures". It does not take a lot to make me happy.
