No sugar coating. He said it all during his campaign. He isn't backing off. He's putting us first. Why we voted for him, and I think he's sticking to his end of the bargain.

Obama was voted in twice by the people yet the people that voted him started getting lossy because He wasn't doing enough in the eyes of the people. Trump is talking. That's all it is. And I firmly believe that the people that voted him in are going to soon enough be b*tching about something Trump is doing. My two cents is, that the circus just begun. I'm gonna watch everyone riding around on unicycles in clown outfits. It's been entertaining so far.

He is returning control of government to the working class people that pay the taxes that support our government. We are going to be more efficient and by creating more jobs, more taxes will be paid. If you think about it, by increasing the volume of worker bees, our economy will be richer, cut the government employees in half and we have a way to pay back our debt.
pawkey	1/21/2017 8:57:52 AM First off I don't think it's a surprise he wrote the speech himself. No it didn't" flow" but it wasn't written by a speechwriter either which I never understood anyway. Others putting their words in your mouth. His vision is great... Will he accomplish everything and "not let you down"... Highly unlikely. I like how he called out radical Muslim extremists for what they are and we are going to destroy them.But to erradicate them completely? Won't happen.

None would have started before they got sworn in. Trump jumped right in. He strikes me as someone who just won't give up. We don't need nanny government calling our shots. Nor getting in our way. We need opportunities to grow.

sillylaugher61	1/21/2017 12:11:16 PM It sounded exactly what we heard from him during his campaign efforts. His speech was short and direct but told us of his plans during his term in office. I hope that he gets 50% of his goals done I will be happy.
kpthatsme	1/21/2017 12:31:08 PM I hope he does what he says. His speech was an extension of his campaign. He doesn't sugar coat and speaks off the cuff (sometimes he messes up). I did like the part of his speech that he plans on thinking about America FIRST in his choices. It's about time someone does. I'm sorry, I may be unsympathetic but until our homeless are taken care of, our veterans are taken care of - our own people of this country are taken care of - why should we be the first to run to the aide of some foreign country without expectation of compensation of some sort. Charity begins at home.
