A male hairstylist listens better on what you want done to your hair than a woman, talking from experience. I asked this lady one time to give me side bangs which I prefer cause it doesn't get in my face just falls to the side. She totally thought I was asking her for your standard bangs. I was so upset for months that she gave me bangs.

Gay men in my experience and opinion does better hair. Also they have reasons to have any jealousy issues you may cone across with a female stylist

Well, if I were to visit with a hairstylist, I'd choose a woman, because women are more in tune with what appeals to women. Gay hairstylists appeal to women, because they identify with them. When it comes to motivations, there's a mighty big difference.
