Don't ever take this [the Cookies and Cream] flavor haha. I second the above post on the gas, AND it tastes megasweet. I go for the double rich chocolate. Perfect; not too heavy on the cocoa (and that's saying a lot, since I'm a sweet tooth). They also sell 1 and 2 lb containers.
Double rich chocolate is the best... My #1 when it comes to protein

I need a decent tasting protein powder. Any recommendations?
Using in smoothies for extra protein for breakfasts and snacks. I have lost a lot of weight and have only 80 more pounds to my goal weight. I jog 3 times a week and workout 2. My food intake is fine.

Try Gold Standard Whey by Optimum Nutrition. Good recovery drink. The Cookies And Cream flavor is excellent and I heard the Rocky Road is very good. 24 gms protein, 4 gms carbs, only 1 gm sugar, and also contains various amino acids. You can get a 5.15 lb container good for 77 servings for just $52.99 at Vitamin Shoppe.

Lmao! That is gross.
I think it depends. Ask like a vitamin dude at the store.. They will tell you the do's and don't.. But consult your doctor of course.
I try to get the reasonable ones that has all the good vitamins and protein in it.

Umm, if you're having digestive problems... stay away from protein powders with soy and/or sugar. Try plant proteins like pea, hemp & rice or whey protein isolates (not concentrates).

Just bought Carnivor by MuscleMeds, which I've read lots of good things about. It's bioengineered beef protein, 0 gm fat, 8gm carbs, 23gm protein, no sugar. Also has creatine and BCAA's. I bought the chocolate. Tastes pretty good. Got it on sale at Vitamin Shoppe. 2.3 lb container for only $21.99. Sale will be until the end of the month.

i would suggest the advocare meal replacement shakes. They have 24 grams of protein, taste great and only 220 calories. And they stay with you. I drank one before work the other day and I wasn't hungry for a few hours. You can order them online at www.advocare.com/130637122
Try them out. I'm sure you will like them. They come in chocolate, chocolate mocha, vanilla, and berry

Oh BTW they sell all kinds of ALL NATURAL workout and diet items along with vitamins, cosmetics, laundry.... in most cases so much cheaper than store brands....

I chose an all-organic approach. raw protein from Garden of life makes an all plant-based organic product. There's the protein shake powder and also a meal replacement powder. I did a lot of research on harmful additives and chemicals that have been found in a LOT of other products but this one fit the bill for me. A little something after my workout to get me started on feeling hungry so I would actually eat post-workout. I also found it went well in smoothies and in baking even. I will add a few scoops to homemade bread. Top it off with peanut butter in the mornings and have a shaker bottle of protein too. A protein-rich breakfast sustains me well through the morning to lunch if I don't have time for a snack. I do recommend mixing it with double the recommended water. I got the chocolate and after I had my first bottle of it I enjoy it actually. No funky farts or burps or bowel movements is a big plus
