Peavey 400bh...possibly the best head unit ever built...rated at 210W @ 4 ohms & 300W @ 2ohms...capable of producing sound at less than 2 ohms. I have one...a buddy's 600W Fender amp could not compete...the Peavey is superb!

I've never disliked anything that Peavy or Ampeg have ever put out, but I have to go with Hartke here, always quality stuff... But as long as it pushes out enough sound, I like whatever really... the real magic happens with the instrument anyhow...

I have a line 6 ..I sold all my marshall amps and kept this line6 its a spider series with all the effects built in with a hard drive to record a track pre recorded bass....and sone jam stuff with a drum machine recorded by real drummers a huge efffects board with wah foot pedal....it has everything i wanted .im a one man band . its frkn awesome

I have a spider II half stack but I still prefer a fender supersonic or a mesa (both have fender circutry) love fender clean line 6 has great distortion but so does my boss MT-2 and my boss metalcore distortion pedal and with a line 6 you can't ever REALLY customize the tone it always runs through the preset tone and fouls up the tone your going for with my experience atleast
