Hello fellow Minnesotans,
I can see that this part of the forum is EXTREMELY dead...
So I decided to make a post to get people more active in here.
This topic can range from Guys asking Ladies questions and likewise.
To... what us Minnesotans love to talk about.... THE WEATHER LOL
So please try to keep this post as active as possible. To try and get people
to come onto the Minnesota Forum.
The topic I'd like to talk about is the amount of "FAKE PROFILES" (Ladies) are on this site.
For the guys that get discouraged that a lady doesn't reply back... DON'T BE....
There is about a 90% chance the profile is completely fake.
I have come up with a way to verify if someone is fake or real... (if anyone is interested)
Also, if you come across someone you'd like me to look into... just post the name in here.
AGAIN, try and keep this post active... and try and get Minnesotans to post in here.

It's pretty simple really... I have Windows 7 and I'm using Fire Fox as my browser.
First off, pick a profile... I randomly picked this one to show an example: happyburro27877

As you can see... looks like a normal 26 year old women... Living in the Twin Cities. Has Multiple pictures... looks pretty legit... HOWEVER,
Now this is how to find out... Right click the profile picture and go down to "COPY IMAGE LOCATION"
Now go to google.com and click images... now you should see a camera in the search bar... click that.... a new window should pop up... next right click that text bar and paste...
hit search image...

But as you can see this profile picture has been used in several profiles on DateHookup.dating and look at the locations... all over the map. Now this is just an example
others I have found websites that the picture has been taken from. Others I have found being linked to real people in other countries.

It isn't fool proof... some might slip by... but I hope this helps... I know a lot of people get upset when people don't reply back... Just trying to help those people.

Very nice! Thank you! I have a ?. I got a message from someone and as much as I would like for it to have been real there were red flags. He didn't have a profile picture so I asked him to send me one. He did and I tried what you said but nothing comes up but his picture the one time. In the link info it said had cloudfront.net I looked this up and it is a delivery service. I was really expecting to see what your link had shown. Guess my ? is does this only work on profile pictures that they have posted for public view and not for ones sent to us through messaging? I wanted him to be real lol but the red flags were him asking for my yahoo with his next message to me after I responded to the wink. Then he didn't answering any of my ? and what seemed to be broken English in the next message.

What you experienced is someone using someones picture to try and scam you out of money. It is a HORRIBLE world we live, when people try to prey on someone that is looking for a partner. What my little trick does is searches the internet for that image. However, there are countless sites on the internet that we here in the USA can't view. (It's like this in other countries as well) They could have stolen it off of someones facebook as well. If that user is set to private it wont show up. However, if for example... you friend someone on facebook... they can easily steal your pictures...everyone outside of your account can see your picture but not your facebook account... this could have happen. On facebook I always get random people asking to be friends. Is this clear?

Yes I do have another ? not sure you can answer it but after I looked at your profile I saw the saying at the bottom. It is one of my favorites. I found it on youtube one time while looking. The one I like the most of the videos will not let me link it here says embedding has been disabled by request. In fact there is that one and a song that I can't link except to post the address link. I was wondering if there is anyway to get around this so that the video will show like when I post most of my music here. Here are the two links that I am talking about.
