I have one that is only my dog baby. I rescued him he was abuse dog I did not choose him he chose me .If I am holding him no one better touch me or he go after any one like a doberman he my old dog I love him dearly .the other one is everyone darling and the young one it just want to play.But I do not think that baby will be with me much longer he is not doing very good but I want him to go before I go as I do not want anyone mistreating him and he has not made any friends.

I have --Bandit and his daughter Lucy --he is about 7 and she is maybe 4 now. and when they go --I don't know what I will get . But Am so used to something under foot..just difficult training a dog to potty outside or on a pad. that's the only bad part.

Try putting then in a place where it can not go pottie any place else my new dog will fellow the old dog to potte. But if it get the run of the house it will pottie any place I have doggie doors all the way out to the back yard but if I keep it on the computer room with the old dog's it will go out to the back porch and do it on the potte place .I hope this way it will learn where it suppost to go . In have fix for then in the inclose back porch a potte place they only go as far as the porch they never go out it the winter .I clean it every other day and put it in the trash.

Hope , that seems to be a sanitary way of dealing with pups in the house ,I never had an inside dog & my cat was litter box self trained , also sho liked to go out in fair weather & do her numbers .

No problem with chadhe goes out rain snow or sunshine.When it real cold he does his thing and comes right back in.
Had him at the vet the other dayshe said he is too fat so i have to put him on a diet.No more feeding him when i'm eating,and no more snacks.It's tough when he sits there and looks at me and i can't give him anything,but i guess it's best for him.

Iv'e been doing pretty good .i just look the other way when he stares at me.I think he has lost some weight.Have cut down on his dog food and the weather has been good enough to take him for a walk.
My Daughter has a Black Lab that is 10 years old. Took her to the Vet for her check up, she weighted 112 lbs. The Vet put her on Canned Pumpkin and Canned Green beans, plus lose weight dog food. She has been an inside dog since a puppy. The Vet told her, NO Adult food what so ever. This dog has been lazy since my daughter bought her. Every time she takes her for a walk she just sits down. The Vet checked her Thyroids and now she is on meds.
I know it is so hard to not feed them. They don't understand.

He wont eat carrots unless they are cooked first.I will have to try green beans.I changed his dog food.He still loves me even if he is hungry.He is looking a lot better.
Have been taking him for a walk when the weather is decent.As soon as i pick up the leash he starts to bark,he sure does love his walk.Good luck to your daughter delilah

My son in Nevada has a big dog--and vet told him to give him a raw carrot every day.... Frankly I thought he was nuts but the dog does enjoy them--he broke him in with just one bite a day..

Ah but listen, as the sound draws near,
Listen closely, and you shall hear,
This is what brings to the hunter his thrill,
The sound of the hounds on yonder hill.
Through the cornfield you can hear them bawl,
Into the woods and over the windfall.
Redbone, Walker, Bluetick, Plott,
Or maybe it’s a Cur that’s all you got.

i got my dog from the animal shelter,he was supposed to be a beagle mix,but i think he has more basset hound than beagle.he actually cries like elvis's hound dog.

I had a c*cker spaniel back in 1952,i would take him with me when i visited my friend who lived on a farm.He loved to run in the fields.I named him julius 'for julius larosa who was a popular singer at the times.When i joined the marines in 1953 i gave him to my friend.When i came home from boot camp i visited my friend .He lived on a dirt road about a half mile from a paved road.When i left i got to the main road and looked in the rear view mirror,and there was julius chasing the car.I stopped the car and took him home with me.i called my friend and told him what happened and i would bring him back the next day.I took the dog back to the farm and went to school in florida.I later got a letter from my friend that he had been shot by a hunter on the first day of hunting season.I'm so glad i stopped and took him home that day.

When a cat does that it usually is an indication they are ill. Why didn't you take the cat into the vet. and have him/her looked at?

i had a dog once that was 20years old,human age,he got tumors on his privates'and he was blind,the vet suggested putting him to sleep,so i brought him home in a box.i will never forget it was raining and i was crying and digging a hole to bury him.

I had a great Aunt--we used to visit...She was a cat lover---Probably 20 cats--all over the counter, tables, chairs, floors, the stink was unbearable...And I must have decided at that point ..no cats in house....

Our 13 year old Black Lab has been in Great Health...However, noticing a limp in her front leg...called Vet...have appointment. Hoping nothing bad. She is a inside Dog. We love her so much.
Golden...I like Cats..but they must be Outside. Only one will do. We don't have any cat now. About a year ago we had one outside...she had her own Cuddly House and her play toys..feeding and water dish on our Covered Deck. She had a lot of attention from all of us. Then one day she disappeared. WE missed her...but we didn't get another.

Wilbur..I know how heart breaking this is. I have some cats living with me and I will not let them outside because it is too dangerous for them. I think keeping a cat outside is cruel as they can get hit with a car, get ticks and many other harmful if not fatal things can happen to them out there.

chad is laying beside me on the couch now.we had a birthday party for my granddaughter from va. they just left to go see the christmas light display at the county fairground.it is one of the biggest ones in the area.chad tried to jump up on the couch when my son his daughter and me were on the couch,he made it up but couldn't turn around and dropped back off.

I now have approximately 20 adult cats and four kittens on my property. I feed and water them. Having a fenced in yard the dogs can not attack them. Neighbors died three years ago and their cats took up residence at my place after their Nephew sicked his dongs on them and killed some. I have been trapping the cats, having them fixed and de-fleaed, de-wormed, and de-liced. Ten finding them homes. So I am 300 new homes and twenty four to go. I have taken a break. Need to get back to it as the count will start fining me if over four cats are here.
I have a eight year old Pug that is the boss around here and he likes the cats. June

People who set animals out should be ashamed
take them to animal shelters who have a no-kill policy
so they can be neutered to keep from having
so many farrow wild cats...

took chad to the vet today,got his check for lymes disease,it was negative,but the bill wasn't.i also got triflexis,total of 156$ but he is wort it.
